‘A Trash Truck Christmas’ Netflix Release Date, Plus Holiday Toys and Gifts To Buy

What? You’re not a huge fan of garbage trucks, you say? Well, you’re obviously not a preschooler. Because right now, the hottest kids’ animated character on Netflix isn’t a race car, a toy, a panda or a fish, it’s a trash truck. And its spectacular (especially if you’re six years old).

Trash Truck follows a boy, his family and his bestest friend, a dirty, giant, expressive trash truck, as they get up to all kinds of adventures together.

The short animation series came out November 10 with 12 episodes that last just over 10 minutes each—but that didn’t stop kids from deeply appreciating the friendship between this odd couple. And, just in time for the holidays, Netflix will be premiering A Trash Truck Christmas on December 11—though we bet it won’t be a one and done stream in most households.
