The NFC Championship Game showcased the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers in Levi Stadium. Behind Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers had one of the more potent offenses in the league, and they backed that up with an elite defense that shut Aaron Rodgers down for much of the game. They easily ran away with a 37-20 victory.

Who Won the Super Bowl in 2019?

The Kansas City Chiefs, in their first of back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, won this game 31-20 against the San Francisco 49ers. It was the first Super Bowl for the organization, their last championship coming in 1970 before the merger.

Patrick Mahomes did it all in this game, completing 23 of 35 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns. Additionally, he led the team in rushing yards with 53. The Super Bowl victory was the first of head coach Andy Reid’s career, having made it only one other time with the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2004. He lost that game to the New England Patriots.
