What are the differences between these Anabaptist groups when it comes to doctrines, practices and lifestyles?
I am not Anabaptist, but here is a differences table. Hopefully this table works well. Seems like these are similar groups, but with slightly different doctrines and lifestyles. Now, I am addicted with making tables on CF. :)

The Bruderhof share, or at least shared, a position on contraception with the Catholic Church. They articulated it well. As to all the rest of it I have never explored it.

Fascinating! I wasn't aware that anyone prohibited artificial contraception except some Russian Orthodox Christians.

Thanks for sharing! I know there are some Hutterite colonies in the Dakotas and an Amish colony somewhere in Nebraska. I find their history fascinating :)

Well, and the Catholics. And the Bruderhof. Don't know about the Amish or Hutterites. I've never heard one way or the other.

I knew among the Lutherans that Larry and Nordis Christenson were solidly against contraception. Before I discovered the Bruderhof exception and the Larry and Nordis Christenson exception I though ALL Protestants accepted contraception. There are pockets of exceptions to what is a very general rule.

I just discovered that 'Old Order' Amish do not allow contraception. More to be discovered.

Oopps, obviously RC.

I wasn’t aware of that either among some Amish.

Anyhow, enough of this (interesting) diversion. I'd like to hear the comparison between Hutterite and Bruderhof and Amish on everything else.
