First time here. Â I'll be here again.
What you need to know:
*Free wi-fi.
*Good coffee.
*Cheddar and Egg biscuit with Ham was delicious --- ask for it toasted.
*Selection of wines and beer available.
*A total of nine tables... each seats 2 people. Â So yes, it's tiny.
*Was here for two hours and there were always people in line; was almost always about five people deep. Â For a tucked-away neighborhood spot, pretty impressive. Â No fears though, service was pretty fast.
Only real downer is that there's no restroom. Â Think it might be intentional; otherwise people like me would be here all day. :) - Becca H.Miami, FL4471625/30/2017
Cozy atmosphere, great wifi, and awesome experience overall. It's a highlight of the neighborhood and true spot for regulars. They will accommodate any alterations to their menu with a great attitude! Had exceptional service from peppy barista is backwards ball cap. She served me with a smile and a wink and had such curvaceous curves. Will be going back just in hopes of seeing her again as well as to enjoy another Americano.

We are in town from DC for the 3-day weekend and decide to stop in at about 11am for breakfast. Ham egg and cheese biscuit was wonderful. Donut was more than wonderful. Steel cut oatmeal was wonderful.
Really crowded inside which was a great sign but still a few tables available to sit and eat. All around great experience. DC needs more places like this. - Amanda K.Los Angeles, CA3468283/17/2017

Sandwich was so good, the soup, cookies, banana bread, egg plate, everything. Locating in west village. Haven't tried the coffee yet.

Absolutely love this place. Â So welcoming, amazing staff. Â My all time favorite is the Avocado Toast and a Latte. Â They also have a great selection of sandwiches and soups for lunch!

Favorite cafe by far! Great food, friendly atmosphere, and great to do work at. The chai lattes they serve here are the best I've ever had. And the staff is always amazing and accommodating. They never fail to recognize me and really make 11th Street a place to return to.

I live a block away from this place and go there on a semi regular basis.
Pros:
They have an extensive deli-like menu with some healthy options.
Coffee is generally decent. Â
Cons:
They often mess up orders. Â It's actually kind of ridiculous and comical at this point. Â
The orders can take forever to get made, so if you're in a hurry go somewhere else. Â
Overall, this place is a block away from me so I will continue to go there. Â However, if you don't live in the neighborhood I would suggest going elsewhere. - Natalia P.Manhattan, NY072/23/2015
Ordered a salad with dressing on the side. I am familiar with salad with and without dressing, and this salad was dripping with a ton of oil. When I asked if dressing was on the side the waitress said yes and brought me a side cup. Just be honest about it and if I'm paying $15 for a crappy salad, please just put the dressing on the side.
They may be able to do pretty designs on lattes but the coffee just a crappy cup of coffee. Staff appeared really unhappy.
For the cost, go somewhere good. Recommend Cafe Minerva or Chalait on 7th and Christopher. Chalait will not disappoint.Business owner information

Hi Natalia,
I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with your salad. We marinate our artichoke hearts in olive oil, that would explain why you had oil in your salad, even if the dressing was on the side. You might not like Brooklyn Roasting company coffee beans that we use, I think this is a personal taste and not a crappy cup of coffee.
Also my staff has been with me for years because I treat them like my family, they are really happy at the cafe, or they will leave, I appreciate your concern on their behalf.
Best,
Maud
