Regina P You know, the important thing is that they tried to make a story that made sense. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Leah W The only way for this film to be a thrilling roller coaster is to go in thinking it's a carousel. Since this is impossible if you've read any one of the reviews (including this one!) just enjoy the fun of the ride. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Math C Très bon film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/15/23 Full Review Dan R '10x10' is another B movie which seemsto have been missed by myself on its release in 2018, but now finds itself on Netflix. SYNOPSIS: 'A man abducts a flower shop owner and holds her captive in a small, soundproof room in an effort to extract a dark secret from her past.' "10x10" is a simple film with limited locations but with a strong story which carries within it a dark and twisted narrative. It's a film which keeps you guessing and questioning who is the villain of the piece. Or more realistically who is the lesser of the two 'evils'. First time director, Suzi Ewing, manages to wring every ounce of tension from the small scale set up to deliver a bloody and violent film which culminates in a morally hazy conclusion. Carried by two brilliant performances from British actors Evans and Reilly this really is a film not to be missed. It will leave you asking yourself the question, in this scenario, what would you do? Personally, I don't think there's a clear answer. 8/10 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review tiiris @ Oh god, this movie is one of the most watched movies on Netflix at the moment. And it is ridiculous. However the only nice touch to the movie is Luke Evans who kills it with his well worked on American accent. Although the trailer and the description of the movie captivates your mind, the plot is completely up in the air, long and it drags on. You would want to brace yourself watching this movie. David Edelstein New York Magazine/Vulture A critic can't say much about this movie except it works up a good amount of lather and how much you like it will depend on how surprised you are by its zigs and zags. Apr 14, 2018 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com The opening scenes of this thriller look and feel like something I've seen dozens, maybe hundreds, of times before. Rated: 1.5/4 Apr 13, 2018 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times "10x10" overcomes limited locations and a slight narrative thanks to a plot that keeps viewers guessing, all the way from its shocking opening act of violence to a bruising and morally hazy final fight. Apr 12, 2018 Full Review Josh Goller Spectrum Culture Opts for a melodramatic thriller angle rather than psychological horror. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 20, 2019 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk First-time director Suzi Ewing manages to wring tension from the shaky set-up, staging the action with bloody, bruising flair, while her two stars do their all to bring their sketchy and inconsistent characters to life. Rated: 3/5 Jan 30, 2019 Full Review Funmi Sunmonu Add This To Your List It's a little bit of a slow burn... I think I might have fast-forwarded through portions of the movie.
