So basically you know how with the recent bedwars update their is a practice mode I was thinking that hypixel skyblock should get a dungeons practice update i know this would've been better during when they added master mode but still I fell it would help people getting into dungeons immensely so here's how it works
So in the dungeons hub selector there is an option next to master mode called practice mode basically the player can go in with a party or alone and select a certain floor and play it however it gives no cata exp or class exp but what you can do is practice your seceret routes, your survivability on that floor, or how to beat the boss the practice floors would have a cata level req of the floor for example to practice f3 you need cata 9 and I feel this would help newer dungeon players as well as the sweats to learn dungeons so yeah if you have any feedback feel free to let me know. (also the practice floors are the exact same as the normal / master mode floors)

I don't think you can have a terrible car crash and spend your whole life without a leg if you play some dungeons
Nono the thing I’m trying to say is some room like blaze for newer player, or say some boss room like f4-7 boss needs some practice or you need to know what your doing, or else you would just die and lose s/s+ and the drops
While the idea he presented is pretty eh but I would still like sandbox (like full blessing boss room instantly to test stuff with)

If you want to practice, either play solo or mention it in the note.
Edit:
Unless you mean something that would for example allow to practice only boss fight without having to get all blessings first?

You do, but see when f5 is newly released and boss room is really hard to grind and stuff
Knowing what you CAN and CANNOT do is a pretty good way to let yourself know that you needs an improvement
yes and the same thing will happen if a new floor with new mechanics ever get released. players will force through it through trial and error until a strategy emerges. relating back to the op, practice mode wouldn't really mimic a real dungeon run as many aspects of dungeons are rng, ranging from the mobs, the rooms, your party, and your blessings. practicing boss rooms as a solo low catacomb lvl player seem unrealistic, like what can you really practice on scarf or even the professor's boss room? not die?

My point is higher one, like when you first tryout stuff like terracotta, livid and stuff that’s actually hard and is required say you can instantly test out mosq bow, soul whip, etc.or stuff you borrowed from your friend without having to go thru the progress of clearing, instantly get full assumed maxed blessing or controllable(hence sandbox) other stuff like that would be convenient
Running in and die is just throwing one, also dungeon needs two ppl so atleast you can bring friend and two ppl clear (fun wasting 10+ mins)

those are definitely excellent points, having the ability to test out weapons on floors is viable for practice mode, but would that be it? i can see it being beneficial for new floors where we have absolutely no idea what to do, but it is only a matter of time until strategies surface leaving practice mode redundant again. also i only pointed out which i think the faults of the op. all i can see practice mode being useful for is routing your secrets like op mentioned. but then again, you wont need practice mode anymore once you have optimized your gameplay.

i had a hard time getting better at terminals last month, i mean my progress was normal and all but the issue was i was playing with cata 40-42s so i felt like a massive dead weight, since the last time i played before that was literally november 31.
do you get my point here?

that you felt useless because cata 40-42s are doing better? i mean your feeling of being dead weight was kinda on you. obviously cata 40-42s might do better at terminals because they're used to it, they know what they're doing. they're experienced at it. their progress may be the same as yours since you halted playing dungeons for a while.

yeah would've been nice if there was a mode where i could skip straight to phase 3 and do it repeatedly without getting any reward so i don't feel like an unpleasant talisman of coins eh?
well, keyword: would've been nice, not like i would've asked for it

wait, to be clear, are you against adding "practice mode" or not, like, not necessarily exactly the same "practice mode" as the one this post is about.
