Washington and Evans have plenty of dialog as they interact with each other to solve several tons of fast, out-of-control locomotive fully loaded with toxic and dangerous potentially explosive material.. Plot somewhat predictable - they solve the mystery and become heroes. Plenty of background interaction with "higher ups" and support people - some of whom are more concerned with saving money rather than taking swift action .to do the right thing. Good two hours of edge of seat viewing.

Plenty of action and solid drama, and Chris Pine managed to hold his own as a costar with Washington, a man I consider one of the six to eight top American actors. In addition to Washington, two of that group are also black, and it takes no expertise to guess who they are. Anyway, you get your money's worth with this movie.

It's a good action movie, something you can watch and not dig too deeply into the social messages, if any. Denzel Washington and Chris Pine are two of my favourites, very cool. And at the end, almost everyone gets what they deserve, except the poor engineer who died. Ultimately, it is a fairly happy-making thing!
