Timanfaya National Park: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Timanfaya National Park
This trip is great value. Its quite a long day with a trip around the National Park then onto the wine region area. This has a little stop at the shop. You then go onto lunch which is a buffet, not included in the trip price but costs €10 and is very reasonable. The last part is the caves.... really great day. The caves are a teeny trek and there's a bit of 'ducking' but highly recommed to see a whistle-stop of Lanzarote. The guides are chirpy, informative and helpful. We really enjoyed the whole trip.
We booked the half day tour as we only wanted to see the southern part of the island on a tour but due to a lack of numbers owing to the pandemic we were combined with the full day tour. This meant that we had a lunch stop but after the visit to the winery we returned to our hotels with the full day tour completing the remainder of their tour. The communication before the tour was excellent and the tour itself was great, as we expected. Definitely worth the money.
This was a very good tour although there could be some improvements. There wasn't enough time given at the Volcano tour so we could visit the souvenir shop which was a shame. The vineyard stop was also too short, it would have been nice to pay a few extra euros to enjoy some proper wine tasting. The Aloe Vera museum is free to get in to anyway and it felt like you had to buy something when there. We really enjoyed the ferry trip to and from Lanzarote.
The tour was excellent, great tour guide & driver, informative, lots of variety. one thing I would check is that they tell you to wait at a specific bus stop, that wasn't in our instructions, it would also help if they described the bus in some way as there are so many, it would just ease the stress.
Great day trip if you’re not sure what to see or do out of all the options on the island. Probably perfect for any first time visitors. Saw such a variety, lovely guide with great language skills and personality!
