Numerous errors with the license plate on the car the 2 FBI agents took Adaline away in the beginning of the film. The tag marks the year being 1954 where the iconic black and gold lettering California plate wasn't introduced until 1963. Also, there's 7 numbers used on this plate which not only breaks from the standard 3 letters followed by 3 numbers format used at the time, but California plates didn't hit a 7th character until 1980. Also the design the the plate is completely backwards The California was at the top along with the left and right tag slots and all the lettering and numbers had rounded corners not sharp, chiseled edges with serifs as seen on the plate in the film.
When young William asks the other camper to take a photo of them after Adeline injuries her hand, she covers her mouth with her fingers pointing outward, away from her face. When they show the final picture, her fingers are pointing inward. Since they didn't have digital cameras back then and film was precious, it would be highly unlikely they would take more than one photo.
Before Adaline/Jenny gets the last Trivial Pursuit question "for the win", you can see that her playing piece is missing the blue wedge. The last roll of the dice is a 2 which would not bring her playing piece to the blue headquarters square where she could collect the blue wedge. And even if it had, you don't win immediately after having collected all 6 wedges. You're supposed to go to the hub of the board and answer a final question.
In 1929, Adaline and her mother visit the Golden Gate Bridge which "three years hence" would be completed. The narrator then states that in February of 1937, there is a construction accident - eight years after 1929. The 1937 date is correct for the Bridge's history, so the original statement is in error.
Errors in geography
Although this film is set in San Francisco, USA, at the beginning of the film where we see Adaline gets off the cab just outside Tony's apartment, there is a Canadian flag clearly visible far away in the background (top right of the frame), indicating that the actual filming location is Vancouver, Canada.
Because Adeline told Ellis that she never ages, he would have known that she was the woman his dad was in love with when the dad was 26. That would have been a big plot problem because in real life it would be almost impossible for Ellis to live with that. So, to keep this movie going forward, the idea of the son loving his dad's ex is ignored.
