It's been 20 years since Piper Perabo starred in her breakout role as Violet Sanford in the 2000 musical comedy Coyote Ugly. 

But the 43-year-old actress hasn't aged a day, completely shocking Today Extra host David Campbell during their interview.

After greeting Piper, who was video calling from Los Angeles, David, 46, appeared completely shocked at how youthful and stunning the actress still is.

He threw one hand up in the air, as though frustrated at how beautiful she still is.

'Piper has not aged guys, what is going on?' David asked.

Piper did look every bit the ageless beauty in the clip, innocently smiling with her iconic blonde hair, and there were absolutely no lines to be seen on her face.

After her awe-inspiring introduction, co-host Belinda Russell went on to ask about her on-screen love interest, Australian actor Adam Garcia. 

Piper revealed the Broadway star was 'too good' for the cult classic film. 

'He was actually too good a dancer, when he had to dance on the bar in Coyote Ugly, they had to re-choreograph it because he made it look so good,' Piper said.

She added: 'They thought "no regular guy knows how to dance that well".'

Piper has gone from strength to strength after her breakthrough role, now starring as a jilted 1930's housewife in Stan's Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. 

'Women were kind of in this limited role and they were really frustrated. I think in some ways, women feel that way still. So it was sort of fun, to get to play it,' Piper said of her new role.
