Awesome family trip !! Kids LOVED the water slides. Really they could do that all day. Beach + boardwalk was Beautiful. All staff was nice and helpful and kind! Overall PERFECT EXPERIENCE !! I would return for any reason really....beach, family or friends trip, beachy location yet near shops and only 35min to the airport
Great service friendly staff clean rooms, It takes a lot of effort to keep full capacity and adapt during covid-19 restrictions. To reply to the negative comments I'd say-Just consider these efforts and be grateful you could come to Naples and enjoy what this jewel has to offer!
Our air conditioner did not work, had to move to a new room in the middle of the night. Our new room had a multitude of issues as well. leaky faucet in bathroom, no working plug in bathroom, loose handle in shower, missing cable on TV, Horribly hard bed, small tiny BUGS crawling in our bathroom with a video to prove it. and a non functioning sliding door to the balcony.
This hotel was crowded. It was season in Naples. We had to wait for our hotel room to be ready. We had a couples massage at the Spa and it was wonderful. The staff in the spa were very accommodating. We stayed after our massage and sat outside near the hot tub for the afternoon. They had little snacks and cold water bottles. Our trip to the beach was surprisingly a long walk. They do have trams, but there was a long line so we opted to walk. We decided to ride the tram back to the hotel and it took 30 minutes in line before we got on a tram. I found the bed to be very hard so I did not sleep very well.
We stayed in their top-tier accommodations, the Signature Gulf View Suite. Very spacious, reasonably nice, but showing wear. Room cleanliness was sub-standard, including popcorn tucked into the sofa. Toilet handle was broken when we first arrived in room - not a major problem, but should have been detected and fixed before guest arrival. The staff were extremely pleasant, and all of them observed distancing and mask-wearing during our stay. The other people at the resort, though, did not. A high percentage of people in the lobby areas did not have a mask, and we found ourselves exiting an elevator before it left the lobby because other guests refused to wear a mask. The Naples Grande does not have staff visible in the common areas beyond the front desk. Other hotels we visited for lunches during our trip had staff members positioned in the lobby/near elevators, and mask usage was thorough in those properties. If the hotel's aim is to make their guests comfortable, this is a major shortcoming.…
