4.0 out of 5 stars Conspiracy aint no album for kids, this is a raw and gritty album.
By Matthew Robinson on June 6, 2019
You could tell that Junior Mafia was hungry and ready to get on (that means make it in the rap game) when they recorded this album.

Junior Mafia was an underrated rap group from the 1990s, whose popularity died when Notorious B.I.G. was killed in 1997. The Outlawz (a group that Tupac Shakur curated and helped out until his death) went through the same fate when Shakur was killed in 1996.

Conspiracy was an album full of street tales and true stories on growing up in the streets of New York, and it aint for kids or the faint hearted. This was one of those type of albums a teenager would have to sneak behind their parents' backs to listen to.

Del Vec, Kleptomaniac, Trife, Larceny, Lil Kim, and others made sure you know who they were or didn't forget them, when they spit their rhymes on various songs on this album.

Conspiracy is an East Coast-centric album as far as the beats, with the rappers on the album, and the overall concept of the album.

People that grew up off of West Coast and Southern rap wouldn't really get this album or add it to their collection, or they would have bumped a few songs on this album like track 7 (Get Money), track 6 (I Need You Tonight), and track 5 (Player's Anthem) and then moved on their own favorite artists.

Get this album if you're a fan of 1990s era East Coast rap or you want an excuse to listen to Notorious B.I.G. (he was on a few tracks on this album).
