Ferguson currently on tour with Josh Robert Thompson, who has voiced the lovable robot skeleton for the past few years, and they’ve heard the pleas from fans who want the show back. Even if those fans are, as Ferguson and Thompson mused, just “six cat ladies in Des Moines,” the duo bringing the show to YouTube—and it’s as strange as ever.
Without the set, the lights, the sidekick pieces, or the audience, Ferguson and Thompson have to make their own laughs and their own guests. Sure, we always knew that Secretariat was actually two people in a pantomime horse costume, but seeing two people galloping around is still a little disconcerting.
Now that they’re no longer employed by CBS, Ferguson and Thompson have to find other ways to pay the bills. Touring across the country helps, but when it comes to getting that cash or even entertaining themselves, they start to get…creative.
But the strangest video yet may be the one that brings Geoff back to life. The skeleton may be in storage, but he was “repurposed” into a steamer so he could come alive. Letting off some steam is only the beginning of this beautiful array into double entendres. Call it the new start of a beautiful and potentially violent friendship.
Will it get weirder from here on out? We can only hope so.
