    Kathleen Ann Thornton

    December 12, 1941 - January 19, 2022

    Kathleen Ann Thornton, age 80, of Dallas, Texas, passed away January 19, 2022.

    Kathie was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 1941, grew up in New York and attended Adelphi University. She moved to Plano, Texas in 1980 and built a career as a chemist in the food and animal health industry before retiring in 2012.

    Kathie was well accomplished at work and was known as a constant guidance to her coworkers. Family and friends were her entire world. She led her family with grace and fierce love. She was the embodiment of strength, resiliency and pure sweetness. Kathie was a natural caregiver and made everyone feel her loyal devotion. Her favorite things in life were cooking shows, Neil Diamond, visiting Cape Cod, eating New England lobster rolls, being with her wonderful friends. Kathie was known as "Gram" to her family and she took her role seriously. She thoroughly enjoyed her two children and grandchildren, and the love and admiration for her was mutual. She was a constant presence in their lives. Kathie taught all of us life lessons and we will honor her memory daily. She would want everyone to smile and to enjoy the lives that they have been given. She would tell you to check in with family and friends, watch over one another and take care of each other. She lived a fantastic life filled with love, laughter and smiles. This will be her Legacy. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Louis J. Villa and her mother Elsie Croasdale Villa, her brother, David Villa and grandson, Brice Wood. Kathie is survived by her son, Thomas Thornton, daughter Julie Thornton Wilson, son-in-law Todd Wilson; her grandchildren: Jack David Wilson, Owen Thornton Wilson, Kathryn Klimczak, Louis Wood; and two great-grandchildren: Zachary and Andrew Cochran. Kathie is also survived by many longtime friends, cousins, and extended family on the East Coast that she loved dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00am in the parish worship space at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church – 2700 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, Texas.  Memorial Service will be live streamed at the following link: Donations can be made in her memory to Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas which was an organization close to her heart.

    Mary Marcella Cave

    November 8, 1939 - January 8, 2022 

    Mary Marcella Cave, 82, of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 8, 2022, at her home following a short-battle with cancer. Marcella was born on November 8, 1939, to Raymond Emmett Reubelt and Mary Marcella Klasinski in Leavenworth, Kansas.  
    After graduating from Harlingen High School in South Texas, Marcella went on to Seton Hall University to chase her passion of helping others graduating in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Following college, she returned home to Harlingen, Texas, where she met the love of her life, William Edward Cave, Sr., and they married on June 20, 1964. Together, they had four children, William Edward Cave, Jr., Cheryl Lynn Cave, Michele Lynn Cave and Bryan Michael Cave. Along with being ‘the best Mom in the world’, Marcella had a successful career in nursing with Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, VNA, Aetna, Prudential and prior to retiring was a school nurse with RISD. Everyone who knew Marcella knew that she was an extremely kind, loving, resilient and giving person, and that she loved her family very much. Marcella is survived by her loving, devoted and incredible husband, William, Sr.; son and daughter in law, William, Jr. and Nancy Cave of Irving, Texas; daughters, Cheryl of McKinney, Texas and Michele of Plano, Texas and son, Bryan of Los Angeles, California.  She is also survived by her two younger sisters, Paula Greer of Garland, Texas and Cindy Rose of Pipe Creek, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Dani Hernandez, William ‘Tripp’ Cave III, Miana Rosario, Roman Cave, Noah Cowley, Yoelanni Hernandez and Amelia Hernandez. Marcella will forever be in all of their hearts and missed each day. We know that she was proud of, and filled with pride for, each of them. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023 with committal service to follow at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Columbarium.     Maria Listorti

    December 26, 1933 - January 5, 2022

    Maria (Manes) Listorti was born on December 26, 1933 in Italy to parents, Dominico and Rosaria (D'Elia) Manes.  She passed away on January 5, 2022 peacefully with her family by her side. She had a great life, traveled to many places and was a great mom and loving wife. She took pride in her cooking, gardening and was a great housewife.
    She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Arduino A. Listorti; daughters Veneta Rodrigues (Willie) and Rosie Pattinson (Russell); son, Franco Listorti (Kim); grandchildren, Dylan Listorti, Shannon Allcon (Jason) and Jon Paul Pattinson (Leslie); great granddaughters, Kimbyl Allcon and Brynn Pattinson as well as many extended family members around the world. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W.     Alexander Cedillo Roman

    August 8, 1949 – January 5, 2022

    Alexander Cedillo Roman age 72 of Plano, TX passed away Wednesday Jan 5 2022 at 7:25 pm. He was a native of Dallas TX and was retired. Alexander is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Roman; children, Alejandro Roman, Christopher Roman, Jennipher Rice; sisters, Rebecca Sayre, Henrietta Rojas. Memorial flowers may be sent to Ted Dickey West Funeral Home (address 7990 president George Bush Tpke, Dallas, TX 75252) on Monday Jan 10th by 4 pm . Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm with rosary at 6pm on Monday January the 10th. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. (address 3100 Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano TX75023).  Reception will be in Room 130 after the Funeral Mass. Cremation will follow Funeral Mass.
