Experience and Background
Growing up in a very service oriented family, I have really found my place working with clients at Edward Jones. As a young man and in early college I was a firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT), both with a fire department and working in an emergency room in Lubbock. I think through these experiences I really learned how to care for others in a very personal manner. In my office we really take "caring for our clients" to a whole new level.
I grew up in Austin, TX and graduated from Westlake High School in 1991, followed by my Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics at Texas Tech University in 1995. My time in Lubbock showed me the qualities of West Texas people and that's why I moved to Abilene to start my career in banking. Working for the bank, I met my wife, Jennifer, who recruited me to come work for Edward Jones in 1997. She is also a financial advisor and started with the firm in 1994.
My official career with Edward Jones began on Jan 19, 1998 and my official marriage to Jennifer on Jan 10, 1998. We have two daughters and they keep us extremely busy with sporting events, school events and rodeos. Our spare time is spent traveling and sharing time with family and friends, as well as several philanthropic interests we have.
I have been in Clyde for more than two decades now and we just moved into our new office in late 2019. It is modeled after an old ranch house that came off the famous XIT ranch and is quite a step back in time when you come through the front door.
We serve our clients near and far, and I am so grateful to the many families we get to work with and I take pride in the relationships we've created.
