Douma
Stone Cellars Guest house is set in restored historical vaulted cellars on the lower end of Ishac Residence, a late 19th century house with traditional Mediterranean architecture located in a tranquil... We are a couple and we liked everything from the beginning to the end: the calm and nice welcome with natural apple juice, the way the room was decorated with free snacks that makes you feel really welcome, the tips given, the area outside to relax, the fact that it is in the city centre and also close to nice walks. We stayed in one of the Lebanese Guest houses (separate site) thinking it would be the best, but the Stone cellar is definetely our best stay in Lebanon. Ah..the little cakes were amazing. Thank you. Totally recommend it.

Hotel in Bcharré
Located in Bcharré, a 13-minute walk from Gibran Khalil Gibran museum, Palace Hotel has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. The Peace and Quiet in the Hotel... When I first looked at the Hotel, the rating 7.7 and some of the reviews discouraged me to book.... Then for some reasons I finally Booked there... The moment I arrived, the Host was Lovely Guy, he upgraded me to a bigger room and the payment was easy by Card!!! Then when I saw the room, it was cosy and clean. If you expect to find Rooms like in London or Portofino, then surely you will not like the place, but You have to be objective as It is a Hotel in a Village!!!! As for the bad reviews about hot water, I noticed that I have to wait for a small while to get hot water (very Natural because You are almost 2000m above sea Level)... Regarding the bad review about the Breakfast, it was also wrong as the breakfast is rich and more than satisfying (Nescafe/Tea, eggs, olives, Labneh and white cheese, cucumber and tomato, with bread... Then also delicious Jam, and fruits like Banana and Melon yummyyyy)... No Buffet but this is not obligatory anyway!!! All in all, being in a Hotel in the Village, My experience was nice cosy and Lovely. And I encourage people to book there...

It is an amazing village in the north governorate, Lebanon. Douma is the village of churches; our stay in the heart of this village was marked by the soft silence and the jingle of St Simon church and church of our Lady of Douma that both praise the Lord. The night life of the village offers you local specialties in their multiple restaurants
Douma is a great place to walk around. Even in winter the Small Cafe's and shops are open with many Shops selling local goods. And the cafe's selling local food and produce. Explore the backstreets and uyou will be surprised what you will discover.
The village is so beautiful and peaceful. Stone Cellar residence is a great place with interesting history. MR Michel the owner was so welcoming and kind enough to take us in a tour in his lovely village. We definitely recommend stone cellar for anyone who appreciate Beauty ,history,Warm and generous welcoming.
Douma is a beautiful village with a lot of history. It is very close to the Tannourine Cedar forest and to the unique Balou Balaa Pothole Waterfall( however, dry in July and August), it is also close to the Laklouk Ski Resort. The whole area is ideal for hiking and for nature lovers.
