Grading System in Nepal

It has not been much longer than our Education system has shifted from the traditional Percentage based evaluation system to Grade/ GPA based evaluation system. So this has created confusions among the parents and guardians, also many students aren’t clear about the GPA based evaluation system. Therefore to help everyone in confusion we have brought a comparison table.

S.N. Percentage Grade GPA
1 90-100 A+ 4.0-3.6
2 80-90 A 3.2-3.6
3 70-80 B+ 2.8-3.2
4 60-70 B 2.4-2.8
5 50-60 C+ 2.0-2.4
6 40-50 C 1.6-2.0
7 30-40 D+ 1.2-1.6
8 20-30 D 0.8-1.2

    1. Notebahadur

3.6 GPA is A grade, the GPA greater than 3.6 is A+.

    2. It is considered as A+
      Formula is (3.6+1)×20

3.20 in 11 class exam what is my grade ?

    1. Notebahadur

      A+ will be equivalent to four GPA, A to 3.6, B+ to 3.2, B to 2.8, C+ to 2.4, C to 2.0, D to 1.6, and E to 0.8.

So, your grade, for the GPA of 3.20, is B+.
