Escape Winter aboard your Classic Center Cockpit Sloop sailboat. The Nantucket Island NI33 and NI38 were designed by Ausie, Peter Cole, designer of Australian contenders for The America's Cup race. Built in Taiwan by HoHsing Shipyards, to a very high standard of FRP construction. Excellent joinery skills and cabinetry craftsmanship are evident throughout the Teak interior. Form follows function in the layout below, the Flush Deck Design provides excellent headroom, leaving one with a feeling that your on a larger monohull. The Aft Masters Stateroom provides a level of luxury not normally found is a vessel this size. There is a special feel to the Nantucket Island Yacht, I can only describe it as a balance, a harmonious feeling. The layout of this Flush Deck/Center Cockpit/Aft Cabin Bluewater Cruiser just seems to flow. This Sloop has a very attractive design and is one of the finest looking sailboats in the anchorage. This sailboat does not close in on you during long passages, it seems to flow seamlessly with the wind and water. Some call this, "Feng shui", An ancient art and science that was formalized over 3,000 years ago in China. In literal translation feng means "wind" and shui means "water." In Chinese culture, wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune. Conversely, bad feng shui means bad luck or misfortune, which is not good "Juju" at sea.
Available in two versions, the NI38 and NI33, the Nantucket Island Yacht is a Compact Bluewater Cruiser with an amazing layout which provides a very high level of functionality and comfort in 33'. This well founded cruiser will take you anywhere in style and safety. The encapsulated keel will not come off in a grounding, or a storm. Even if holed, it is sealed off from the rest of the bilge. The Flush deck provides an uncluttered space for single handed cruising as well as a great place to entertain, in port. Approximately 50 or so NI33's were built in Taiwan, and Down Under. These classic yachts are not well known, because of they are rather scarce, not because of their performance under sail, offshore, or Island Hoping. The 5.5' draft is great in skinny waters, yet the heavy ballast ratio, keeps it stiff in a blow. The Modified Full Keel, provides good stability with a lower drag ratio, for faster passages. The PERF rating is decent for Regattas.
The NI38 is even more rare, as far as we know, only 5 were built, all in Taiwan, before Polyester resin prices went through the roof, causing many FRP Shipyards to close their doors. SV PaPa is probably one of the finest Nantucket Island 38's available, anywhere. Ordered new in 1985 and delivered to Lake Michigan, this NI38 was a stout contender in the Chicago Mac Race.
Location and Accommodations-
SV PaPa is located in a private 8 slip marina, on a canal, across from a park with a Boardwalk that wraps the park and allows you to sit on the bank of the St Lucie River and watch some magnificent sunsets at the famous Sunset Bay in Florida’s Treasure Coast. The sounds of laughter and children playing fills the air here. This is where rich Northerners would visit in the Roaring 20's, charter a captain with a boat to take them out to catch a Swordfish. The historic France Hotel and Casino provides the setting, quaint and relaxing, this is a special place to unwind a little. The residents enjoy sitting at the patio next to the docks, talking to the sailors. Half the slips belong to locals who live nearby in this exclusive waterfront neighborhood, the other half are Northerners, like myself. In the past 100 or so years The France has seen its fair share of severe tropical storms and hurricanes, but still stands tall and proud. Located off the St Lucie River approximately 14 miles from the Atlantic Coast, where the Gulf Stream swings in close to the coast, creating Micro Climate Zones that tend to be warmer, than other areas of Florida, hence the name, “Treasure Coast”. From the St Lucie River you can head West to the Gulf of Mexico, through the locks, or East towards the Intercoastal which will take you North or South. Just past the barrier Islands which protect the Intercoastal is The Atlantic and The Bahamas are about 60 miles offshore. From this location, a short walk to downtown Historic Stuart Florida, it is a simple matter to get anywhere on the planet, via sea, or air.
The slip is equipped with metered electric, water, patio, washer/dryer, security, and is transferable to the new owner at $450 per month. That's about half the going rate, if you can find one. Slips like this are like finding gold...... slips are getting extremly hard to find these days and are getting rarer each year, there is a long waiting list to get into anything decent. The County, 'MS Poop' boat comes by every Tuesday and will perform pump outs for free. You can safely leave a vessel here year round and not have to worry. Airports are nearby, allowing the ability to fly in and go cruise, come back and fly home.
Many vessels suffer from mold and mildew issues when they are stored for the Summer in the Tropics, which is the rainy season. Any leaks can translate into major other issues, structurally, as well feed the mold and mildew problems, below. Boat owners have to spend time cleaning their vessels with highly toxic cleaning products, before they can move back aboard. All this exposure has health risks. Who wants to sail off into Paradise aboard a Spore filled toxic yacht? Hopefully not you.
SV PaPa is a Green Vessel, no toxic chemicals are used for any reason for cleaning. All products used are natural, like vinegar. The Teak interior is hand rubbed Coconut Oil which is a natural anti fungal and helps inhibit mold mildew growth. There are no leaks and the bilge is bone dry, therefore no mold, no mildew will be found aboard SV PaPa. Chemically Sensitive people and those with Asthma seem not to have issues being aboard SV PaPa. This is because a great deal of attention has been paid to this facet of keeping this vessel as non toxic as possible. PaPa is well pass the off gassing stages that newer yachts produce as the various chemicals used in boat building, dissipate.
Step on board after PaPa has been stored in his slip all summer and you are greeted with a pleasant clean smell as you slide open the hatch for the first time in a long time. As you head below you notice that the air inside the vessel is not stale it all. It feels healthy, it feels good, it feels fresh, like right after a Thunderstorm. What is going on here? Technology verses chemicals........I am able to do this through several different processes.
1. De-humidification, keeping the interior dry is of part of equation.
2. Ozone destroys mildew, mold, and spores.
3. Ions makes particulate gather together becoming heavy and falling out of the air.
4. HEPA filter removes small particles in the air.
I am an Engineer, Professional Firefighter and Disaster Managment Specialist under contract with various Government Agencies. I looked a long time for a vessel that was in great shape, well maintained, professionally upgraded and pretty much dialed in already. There has only been 3 owners of this vessel and I have owned it a little over a year. Previous owners were very meticulous as am I. We depend on our specialized emergency equipment to work properly 100% of the time as our lives depend on it, so it goes with my vessels. Considering all the possible problems that can happen offshore, a sound vessel is imperative to me. If your looking for Bluewater Cruiser that you won’t have to dump a ton of cash and time into, this may be the vessel for you. Check out my website and see for yourself some of the emergency equipment I designed and built. This will give you a better idea of what my standards and abilities are, as well as who I am and what qualifies me to make the claims I do. https://wildfirefighters.com/

s/v SILKIE's refinement into a self-sufficient live-aboard cruiser, focused on five categories:
Safety – New, stronger 28” tall stanchions & uncoated double life lines; 5 boarding gates facilitate multiple docking positions; radar arch, pushpit & solar panel frame form a unitary cage securing crew in big seas; mainsail rigging & traveler relocated from cockpit to cabin top; FurlBoom facilitates more reef combinations; new chainplates; ‘new generation’ ground tackle and premium windlass.
Comfort – ‘wall-to-wall’ cockpit cushions of open cell foam & fabric; cushioned helm seat; 7” X 16” S/S Rutgersen opening ports cool saloon; custom leather lounge chairs, re-designed settee cushions to provide positive lumbar support and knee rolls; cabin fans + Oceanaire hatch screens & shades.
Sustainability – Vacuum Insulating Panels used to convert icebox to keel cooled freezer & frig without water pumps; solar panels & wind generator augment alternator to recharge batteries away from shore power; custom tambour lockers stow cookware & months of foodstuffs; two 26-gal fuel tanks, plus a 6- gal jerry jug, permits nearly 40 hours of hull speed motoring.
Speed – folding KiwiProp; trailing edge of keel tapered; additional roach on mainsail; drifter and asymmetrical spinnaker. SILKIE’s shoal Keel/CB has proven completely reliable and PHRF New England assigns the design a base handicap of 138. She always surprises other cruising boats with her speed.
Electronics – Backstay SSB antenna and KISS counterpoise, Yaesu FT100D SSB radio; redundant depth sounders & GPS networked via dual NMEA streams; AIRMAR CS4500 ultrasonic speed transducer eliminates paddlewheel to report STW; Vesper Class B AIS transponder; dual data streams send nav data to B&G Zeus 12 plotter at helm and your computer running Coastal Explorer at nav table; B&G 4G solid state radar integrated with chartplotter; iAIS Wireless AIS Receiver & NMEA repeater broadcasts AIS, GPS and NMEA data to WiFi connected phones and tablets running Garmin Blue Chart Mobile or iNavX.

I found it difficult to write this ad. Shibumi has been part of our family for 15 years. We have lived aboard her every winter since we bought her. Now it is time to let her go to someone who will love her as much as we do.
CSY built these sturdy vessels between 1977 and 1981. According to company literature, the hull is up to 1.5” of solid fiberglass reinforced plastic resin. Up to 14 dual layers of fiberglass mat and fiberglass weave creates a solid hull and deck allowing for the avoidance of troublesome wood laminate. Caribbean Sailing Yachts were built to Lloyds of London standards.
Shibumi is a center cockpit walkover model. That means one has to walk up to the cockpit from the forward main salon, then down to the separate spacious aft cabin.
The vessel is spacious throughout.
Forward quarters consist of a large V-berth in a private stateroom, with hanging locker and drawers. This stateroom connects to the forward head and full separate shower.
The main salon has a roomy hanging locker and ample storage above and beneath the comfortable settees. The table in the main salon folds-out. We have accommodated as many as six for dinner, in the main salon (with another four dining on the cockpit table).
The Galley has a Force-10 three burner-stove with oven. The double galley sinks are deep with a separate SeaGull water filter. Shibumi has two refrigeration boxes and one freezer box. The refrigeration/freezer has two efficient water-cooled Frig-a-boat compressors. The galley has a built-in four drawer cabinet and spice racks.
When we live aboard we spend a great deal of time in Shibumi’s large cockpit. Because of the custom made WeatherMax and StrataGlass enclosure the cockpit is an additional all-weather cabin. No-see-um screens allow great airflow without bugs in good weather. StrataGlass window in Bimini permits easy view of sails when underway.
Beneath the cockpit is the engine room, accessible through two cockpit hatches and an access door from the main salon. A hearty Perkins 4-154 diesel is strong and just had it rear oil seals replaced. Two AGM 8D batteries located in the engine room provide over 500 amp hours of electricity to the boat.
Aft of the cockpit is the owner’s private quarters. The comfortable sleeping berth is larger than king-size. The navigation table is in the aft quarters and has plenty of storage inside the table. The private aft-head and shower has ample storage for linens and toiletries.
-Brooks and Gatehouse AutoPilot -Xantrex 2500 watt battery charger/inverter. -Stainless steel stern arch incorporates dinghy davits for Shibumi’s AB tender powered by a 15HP Yamaha 2-stroke outboard. The arch has poles available for Radar and wind generator, should you choose to install them. -Four 55 watt Siemens Solar Panels - 45 LB CQR Anchor 210 feet of 3/8 BBB Anchor Chain

Additional Information: Born for the sea and built to cross oceans. These were the first fiberglass boats to circumnavigate the ocean and boy do they show it at every plow and curl of a swell. The kindliest steering boat I've ever had the chance to pilot, walk away and come back, make a sandwich, kiss the girl on the bow & check your currents tables: she'll still be driving straight.
But anywho- I've had the boat for a little bit and love her but need to scale down for something smaller and trailerable.
Tons of extras, and in grand condition, new auto-tiller, painted soles, mizzen, etc.
Also considering trades for a Cape Dory Typhoon/ trailer or type.
Email for details. My name is Henry.

This Sea Sprite 30 fractional rig sloop was designed by the acclaimed marine architect A. E. (Bill) Luders and built by C. E. Ryder in Bristol, RI. She is one of only 18 such vessels built and at this time maybe the only one sailing the Great Lakes.
Originally built in 1984, Panache was decommissioned and re-launched in 2007 after a six-year keel up restoration. Panache has been repowered and an all-new electrical system installed. She has the latest in amenities like refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, air-conditioning, two heating systems, entertainment system, mood lighting, soft leather seating in the cabin and even a bow thruster to make the backing of this full keel vessel a dream. She backs easily into a slip with even a direct x-wind which makes the passengers exit from the vessel cockpit possible without having to walk the length of the finger pier. This is know as stern to docking. Her hull and deck were completely refinished and a significant amount of teak has been added to give the vessel the charm of a classic yacht with all of todays modern amenities and safety items. This includes a hydraulic powered autopilot, the latest in GPS navigation, and a self-leveling radar system.

Bruce Roberts 34 - Whitby, Ontario, Canada
Make: Bruce Roberts Model: 34 Year: 1986 with major refits in 2005 & 2013-2016 Length: 33'6" LOA Beam: 10'3" Draft: 5'6" Displacement: 12,100 lbs. Engine: Westerbeke W21, diesel, 21 hp, 3 cyl Location: Whitby, Ontario, Canada
Additional Information: A rare blue water cruiser and live-aboard with exceptionally strong, one-piece hand laid up hull done using C-Flex technology (see below), new mast, boom, rigging, sails (2005 refit) and multiple upgrades (2012-2016 refit) to safely take you south or around the world. Turn-key and ready to go.
Robers 34 design has been built as a production boat in many parts of the world and sailed in the singlehanded Trans-Atlantic races and many circumnavigations. It is also the design of choice of English Yachtsman Leslie Powles who hascompleted three circumnavigations in his Roberts 34 ‘Solitaire’, as well as a non-stop journey from NZ to England via Cape Horn.
We refitted this boat to go from Toronto to Bahamas and finally to Australia where most of our family moved some time ago. For the last four seasons we were doing refits and trial trips all other Lake Ontario to test all the systems and do adjustments and additions and very happy with refit done on her. Unfortunately, we have to re-think this plan now and need a bigger boat because there are two more people who want to participate in the adventure and this boat is ideal for a crew of up to three. Five will be too many.
Why Bruce Roberts 34
Legendary performance of Bruce Roberts design. Excellent performance numbers. Motion Comfort is 33 and Capsize Ratio is 1.74 making her an excellent choice for safe and comfortable ocean crossings.
Bruce Roberts 34 sailboats are used by many as a live-aboard-take-you-anywhere boat for cruising Bahamas, Florida Keys and many ocean crossings. She is nicely equipped and already re-fitted for off-shore voyages.
I hope you did your homework and know how much it costs to prepare any boat for off-shore. For 32′ to 36′ boat (new or used) a normal figure is between $50,000 to $70,000 depending on the boat manufacturer.
Why we selected this particular boat
- Very strong body because hull is hand laid with solid fiberglass using C-Flex technology – it is a high strength (67,000 p.s.i. tensile) material, which contains fiberglass rods and continuous fiberglass rovings. Such hulls are getting close to steel construction in strength without the weight and corrosion problems.
- Semi-full keel encapsulated into solid fiberglass as part of the hull so it will not fall out in the middle of the ocean creating several 6″ holes in your hull. This gives you performance of a fin keel and strength of a full keel hull
- Heavy displacement gives you cruising comfort and enough enclosed storage space for several weeks long non-stop passage for 2-3 people
- Rudder supported and protected by a massive skeg
- Heavy duty rudder system with wheel to chain to rack & pinion connection (not flimsy cables)

“Wild Goose” is a true ocean long distance cruiser. (I’v not attached to shore AC power in two years due to solar capacity). Or she’s a head turner on any bay due to her extensive cruising gear, should you just want to drink Pina Coladas and impress the local Yachties with your Naval acumen. I don’t have to sell her, but my age is telling me it’s a smart time to retire to land. I hope to find someone who wants a uniquely outfitted cruiser at a reasonable price; new Valiant Esprit 37’s without cruising upgrades were selling eight years ago at $350,000 before production was halted during the recession.
The boat is totally sound and technically in remarkably good shape. I have maintained her well. There is always room to improve minor issues on any sailboat, but you could sail Wild Goose out to sea in a minute’s notice and be safe. If you wanted to make a total cosmetic redo to achieve a brand new appearance, and would continue an attentive maintenance schedule, she could be counted on to last another 35 years, remaining foremost a strong coastal and ocean crossing cruiser. If requested, I will gladly point out what I believe would be interesting or desirable upgrades to further enhance her reliable performance.
“Wild Goose” is presently on San Diego Bay. Past Surveys from both 2005 and 2015 are available, as are Photos.

Now is your chance to live the life of “Pura Vida” while running sailing excursions with the luxurious 45’ double masted sailing yacht.
Since joining TripAdvisor, Sea Bird Sailing Excursions has been honored to receive a Certificate of Excellence every year based on the many satisfied and happy guests of SeaBird year after year. And, the raves continue to this day!
We worked very hard to bring the sailboat down from California, to import her to Costa Rica and get her flagged in Costa Rica, and to get this business and the sailboat operating efficiently, smoothly and profitably. Our 5 star rating on TripAdvisor and Facebook is proof that we love the work we do. How can we not? It's like a permanent vacation!
Take a look at our tour photo albums that date from 2009 all the way up to tours this past week so you can see exactly what Sea Bird and our tours look like today. As you look, imagine yourself in those photos. Imagine living the "Pura Vida" life as the new owner of Sea Bird and the profitable Sailing Excursions.
Sea Bird is a 45' C&L Explorer, built in 1979 in Taiwan. She was just hauled out and painted last December 2014. She is a Stay-sail Ketch w/ a center cockpit with sleeping space for nine, (2) fresh water showers and (2) heads, SSB/VHF radios, GPS, Captain’s Charts, am/fm radio, mp3 player with iPod/mp3 player hook-up, speakers all around, US Coast Guard approved safety stock, EPIRB life raft, Perkins 4.108 engine, fishing equipment, snorkeling equipment, propane BBQ, linens and kitchen tools. In addition to being completely stocked and ready to step aboard and sail, Sea Bird has all legal documents, up to date navigation papers and she carries the Costa Rican flag.
Sea Bird's home is Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, the most prestigious area of Costa Rica, sharing the waters with the Four Seasons in the Gulf of Papagayo as well as Occidental Gran Papagayo, the Hilton, Andaz, Mangrove, Playa Panama, Playa Hermosa, Playa Ocotal, Playa Matapalo (home of RiU), and several other well known vacation spots. The Liberia International Airport is a short 25 minutes away. Conveniently, the Marina Papagayo is located here to service vessels.
Whoever buys this business can rest assured that we will help train you to take over and run it as we have, and hopefully you will bring new ideas and make it even better than it already is. We want you to succeed!
Why was the asking price reduced? It would be ideal to transition before the start of the next high season in December. Come mid-December, tours are plenty and we get really busy... government offices close and the whole country celebrates. It’s quite an experience! We love it and are happy (and grateful) to keep doing this until we can find the right people. Sorry, we are not offering owner financing.
It is completely legal for expats, or "tourists" to own a business and reside in Costa Rica. If you have any questions regarding the laws, please ask the experts Click link below. In fact, investing in this business could be your ticket to permanent residency status without restrictions.
Mariner 39 - Portland, Maine
Make: Mariner Model: 39 Year: 1981 Length: 38'9" Beam: 11'8" Draft: 5'6" Engine: 50 HP Perkins 4-108 Diesel. Complete engine rebuild in 2014 Location: Portland, Maine
Zora is a handsome, semi-custom and well-found, New England-built center cockpit sloop. In 2004 she underwent an extremely comprehensive rebuild. Safety and build quality were of paramount importance as the boat was to be sailing offshore and off-the-grid for extended periods with a young family aboard. Only the best quality materials and techniques were used. The owners essentially took the boat down to a shell of hull and some interior structure, and rebuilt a new, custom boat on that platform. Since then, the boat has been carefully maintained by a professional marine systems technician. Many more systems upgrades and new equipment have been added in recent years with the long view of more extended cruising.
Zora's owners are experienced and knowledgeable bluewater sailors. One is the head systems technician at a well-respected marina in Portland, Maine. The other has been a writer for Cruising World magazine as well as a five-time judge for the Boat of the Year competition at the Annapolis Boat Show. Their 2004 refit, done with the highest quality components and design, improved an already very solid and well-built vessel. (The New Hampshire based Mariner Yacht Company built sailboats for offshore cruising from 1977 until 1983. )
Additional Information: www.windscape4sale.com Windscape, a Bristol 41.1XT, is a fine example of a distinctive, classic cruising yacht rarely available “For Sale” in the Mediterranean. She is a genteel combination of Ted Hood's legendary design, Bristol Yachts of Rhode Island's passion for construction excellence and the owner's creative upgrades and loving care. Her stylish good looks and classic sheer will continue to stand the test of time and turn heads in every port. Some sailboat styles come and go with the seasons...only a few have enduring value.
The Bristol 41.1 is a highly regarded solid, safe and fast, blue water cruiser/racer...easily handled either solo or by a couple. As a liveaboard boat, her spacious above and below deck layout and comfortable, roomy interior are unique in her class. Windscape's rare center cockpit XT design offers many unique features seldom found on a yacht of this size, including two private staterooms with ensuite heads and two exceptionally large lazzarette lockers...perfect for liveaboards. With the added bonus of a centerboard/keel design, her draft is only 4'6”(1.35m) allowing easy access to shallow anchorages, marinas and canals which other blue water boats never see. Ted Hood and Bristol Marine perfected keel/centerboard designs with hundreds of yachts built.
Windscape is a “Must See” for anyone searching for a solid, well-built, beautifully maintained, fully outfitted cruising boat or a very comfortable live aboard with a fine pedigree. She has been continuously upgraded by her long-time and knowledgeable owners, with over $50K in improvements added since 2011. Also included are many custom upgrades not seen on other Bristol's. Pride of ownership is evident throughout.

Additional Information: Prima Luce is a beautiful and easy sail. She is currently on the hard at IGY Marine Yard in Saint Lucia and ready for splashing. At least one Beneteau 393 has circumnavigated. Paper charts and guides for Cuba, Bahamas and all the Caribbean islands are included as well as tools and spare parts for her maintenance.
US built; 3 cabin version; includes New Yamaha Outboard (Nov., 2013) and dinghy (Flexboat, 10', 2010); davits; brand new mainsail/battens, still in bag; new bottom paint (Micron 66).
All the STANDARD equipment as would be found if "2005 Beneteau Oceanis 393" were Googled, including: a low hour, 56 HP Yanmar diesel drive. When I bought "Nita", now "Prima Luce" in Dec 2010, the boat had been with Moorings Charters since commissioned in 2006. In the four years we have enjoyed Prima Luce, we barely used the engine, preferring to sail instead of motor and only added less than 200 engine-hours to her total since charter. A guess would be around 1500 to 2000 HRs (I cannot find the counter). In any case, the engine has been well maintained by Moorings and by my mechanic and I.
There are a few leaks from above from the rain (she takes very little water on her decks even in the Caribbean swell) but they are superficial and a handyman could repair them pronto. If I were younger and did not have my new obligations to the "joys" of grandparenthood, I would install solar panels and get a pair of new "house batteries" and a good input controller and she'd be better than she is now ... but that's for her next "partner".
There, I've disclosed her limitations, she needs new house batteries and a charging system. That's like a toy to some folks. So, sailors come forth, make me an offer ... I have to let her go.
Her 12V fridge is a beauty. We've cooked gourmet meals with her gas range. She even has air-conditioning for when hooked up at the dock (we've never used it as we are always in an anchorage). I installed a new AIS radio. Also, I have the davits set up with a welded strut holding a water turbine that generates up to 1200 Watts while sailing at 7 knots (hull speed) ... but I've had her up to 9 knots on a surf, WOW!

Leopard 38 - Boynton Beach, FL
Make: Leopard (Robertson and Caine) Model: 38 - Owner's version Year: 2000 Length: 37'6" (LOA) Beam: 19'9" Draft: 3'5" Displacement: 20,120 pounds Engine: Twin 21 hp Yanmars Location: Boynton Beach, Florida
Since her meticulous owners purchased her and part of her ongoing maintenance include new antifouling, hulls and topside buffed, engines serviced monthly, hatches seals and new lexan windows, new trampolines, new canvas, new cushions, new batteries, all new electronics, wind generator.
The Leopard 38 is the one of those rare "owners cat". The 38 handles easily, one of the few straight shafts left (no sail drives!!). She has a large cockpit and a well appointed saloon and cabins. This is the three double cabin version with a master suite occupying the starboard hull and the two cabins in the port hull share heads and showers. The galley is up in the saloon. The deck layout is clear and the mainsheet traveller runs on an arch over the transom giving unimpeded access to the water via a wide aft bathing platform. The transom arch also serves to support the aft end of the bimini and to carry the dinghy. Deep louvre steps shade the forward sloping saloon windows while providing an easy and secure walkway to the saloon roof. The Leopard 38 is a competent performer under sail and power.
Since 2009, a privately owned yacht, this vessel has received significant upgrades and ongoing scheduled routine maintenance on her that truly distinguish her from many other Leopards out there. We have invested heavily in her upgrades since acquiring her. Comparison should be made between this and similar Leopards coming out of charter service, you often need to get the "island rework" out of her. This yacht is blue water ready. Just sail her away as she has been upgraded and maintained for safe and comfortable extended cruising.
This 2000 ROBERTSON and CAINE Leopard 38 (Morrelli and Melvin design) comes with an owners three cabin layout, which makes for a very comfortable cruising yacht. Plenty of storage and space for upgrades, such as a generator, if desired. This boat is free of the cumbersome air-conditioning, watermaker, generator, electric winchs and other nnecessary juice sapping items unneeded for cruising. A simple, reliable easily handled yacht!
