Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin visited Superstar Rajinikanth at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on October 31. As reported earlier, Rajinikanth underwent carotid artery revascularisation surgery a couple of days ago and is currently recovering. MK Stalin enquired about Rajinikanth's health at the hospital. Rajinikanth is likely to get discharged in a few days.

On October 28, Rajinikanth was admitted to Kauvery Hospital for a routine medical check-up. While his wife, Latha, and his team maintained that there was nothing to worry about, sources close to the actor revealed that Rajinikanth complained of chest pain and uneasiness.
On Sunday (October 31), Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin paid a visit to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai to check on Rajinikanth. He enquired about the Superstar's health and wished him a speedy recovery. A video of MK Stalin's car coming out of the Kauvery Hospital is now being circulated on social media.

RAJINIKANTH'S HEALTH UPDATE
A day after Rajinikanth's hospitalisation, Kauvery Hospital issued a medical bulletin and revealed that the actor underwent carotid artery revascularisation. The procedure was performed successfully.
The statement read, "Mr Rajinikanth was admitted in Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai yesterday (28th Oct 2021) following an episode of giddiness. He was thoroughly evaluated by the expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo Carotid Artery revascularization. The procedure was performed successfully today (29th Oct 2021) and he is recovering well. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital after few days (sic)."
Rajinikanth is waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Annaatthe. The film will release in theatres on November 4, on the occasion of Diwali.
