This movie is fantastic. Everyone should see this movie. My wife and I went a little crazy after a month of quarantine and watched all the Twilight movies. It breaks my heart to see people dump on NewMoon. Twilight, NewMoon, and TBDP2 are easily the best ones. When I was a younger man I was more on team Edward, but watching these now, I am firmly in the team Jacob camp. No spoilers, but Jacob is clearly the right pick, and the one who loves Bella for who she is, as she is. Much love to Taylor Lautner. Great acting and cool graphics.
Love all of the TwilightSaga. It is just sad the author has either slowed down writing other novels or has stopped completely. I enjoyed the books tremendously, and then awaited the making of the movies. It would have been good to start another Saga, perhaps involving Jake and Renessme in the future with the rest of the family having moved away. Harry Potter continued with many books, and I think the Twilight Sag a should have continued.
When I started watching the movie, a guilty pleasure for me, I thought I had chosen the regular theatrical version. But as the film progressed, I finally heard conversations I had missed. That's when I realized I was watching the Extended Edition. Why an extended version should have better sound quality is a mystery, but after many viewings of NewMoon, I finally understood many of the words that were muffled in the theatrical release.

This is the second movie in the TwilightSaga, after the director Catherine Hardwick was fired from the first Twilightmovie, you can see the change immediatley. concentrates more on the look of the film, and CGI rather than the material it is based on. Sells all the actors short of the character development in the books. Emotionally manipulative with vital scenes missing. This movie should have been split in two to include omitted parts of the book. It could have been the best of them all, sadly it was not.
Plot advances more slowly than it did in the first movie, but there are definitely some good scenes important to the overall story. Some extra material provided here, but I wouldn't have spent the extra money on the "extended edition" if I'd know how little I'd get for it.
I’m a long time Twilight fan so I really enjoyed the extra content. Unlike other extended editions in the franchise it does not have behind the scenes looks so that a a bit of a bummer. NewMoon is my not my favorite of the 5 movies in the Saga but I like having all of them when I’m in a binge watching mood
I watch rewatch twilight every single year since it’s been out. I love these movies and if you’re into romance vampire/werewolf stories I recommend watching this. It’s one of those movies that is compelling and captivating so it provides entertainment for hours.
The best part about watching this on Amazon is that it’s rentable so you don’t have to commit to buying the movie as the rent price is cheaper!
Years ago, I watched the Twilight sagas out of sequence and decided since I have prime I would watch them in order. Originally, I seen them on videos at different peoples houses. I remember when they were a big deal and must see at the movies. I however never did go to a movie and see them. I have been a vampire/werewolf movie fan since I was a young girl. I can see how these movies would appeal to teeny bops and young people in their twenties. That must be why they were so popular. I thought the special effects were wonderful and even some of the acting was good. Costumes were great and the warewolves were awesome. I found the two main characters to be weird and their acting not really that great. But, I guess they were just young and I did notice as the movies went from beginning to end that the acting did improve. I felt the ending could of been better. I wont rush out and buy the whole DVD set to add to my movie collection as I don't support gay and lesbians life style, but I will watch again if I decide too. A little off subject but the" Outlander" series which is based off of books is very good. Its a time traveler romance with excellent actors , and a strong story line,.
