Nice little museum in Nassau! We enjoyed this small pirate museum and only takes about 20 minutes on this self guided tour. I enjoyed learning the history of pirates that sailed in the Caribbean. They are still requiring a mask to be worn so be sure to pack a mask before visiting.

A great museum to learn about the history of piracy in the Bahamas. The displays are very well done and much bigger than I was expecting. I had a great visit here. They are currently limiting the number of people passing through due to social distancing, so expect a small queue outside. Great for families and couples.

We had a lot of fun here! We were on a cruise with my 10 & 7 year old nephews. We were heading to the beach but I thought this might be a fun addition to our day. We all had so much fun! It only took about an hour & we were the only ones in the museum at the time so it was very atmospheric & we really got to take our time. The boys love creepy things so they liked the scenes with the pirate battles & sneaking onto the pirate ship.

After enjoying the Pirate Museum (totally different by the way) on a recent trip to St. Augustine, FL I decided to give this a try while on a short Royal Caribbean cruise. This museum was easily identifiable from the port. I was happy to see that they offer food at an onsite restaurant; as well as, an escape room game. The entry fee was reasonable and the displays in the Museum reminded of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean minus the animatronics. Very good and worth the stop if you're into this sort of thing.

This is not really a museum, as there are precious few artifacts. Just a few rifles and swords. The rest are wooden sets with some basic effects. It costs a lot too, especially for what you get($13 per person). I don't recommend this place and I love museums. If the family is bored and you are there with cash to burn then maybe, Otherwise skip this, and spend more time enjoying some of the out of this world beautiful snorkeling sites, like Stuarts Cove or Blue Hole water-sports have to offer.

I have been wanting to go to this museum for years, but each time I have visited Nassau I ran out of time. Finally made it on this vacation and I can honestly say it is something you should definitely put on your "must do" list when in Nassau. The exhibits are amazing and you really feel as if you are back in the 1700's during the golden age of piracy in the Caribbean. It is very kid-friendly too! We really enjoyed our visit.

My husband and I toured this museum yesterday. It was so much fun and full of interesting pirate history that we never knew until visiting this museum! It was all extremely interesting and presented in a really fun way for both kids and adults alike. Would definitely recommend this as a 'must see' while visiting Nassau/New Providence! The museum keeper (sorry, bad with names) was very pleasant and even recommended some local places for us to eat. We tried a couple and both were excellent (see reviews for Malone's and Athena's Cafe).

Tried to decide what to do when we came into Nassau on a cruise and found this place. Very interesting museum to visit. Interesting enough the museum was slightly based around the documentary on the pirates of Nassau. Really enjoyed the information presented.

Very nice wax museum. Very informative and easily accessible. Nice way to spend an hour or two. They took all the necessary precautions to ensure that the spacing of the groups is adequate due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Extremely informative interactive experience. The replica of the pirate boat is very cool. The mannequins in the exhibits are a little tired and old, but definitely worth $13.50. I learnt a lot that i didn't know, most importantly that pirates were actually the good guys!! Who knew!!
