Frankfurt on Foot Daily Walking Tour in English

68 reviews
We are the #1 tour in Frankfurt for a reason. Our native Engish-speaking guides always try to make your tour memorable with unique tidbits of Frankfurt history as well as being passionate about showing you this beautiful city. We believe the only way to see Frankfurt is on foot where you can enter buildings and see where history was made. We show you places the tour buses can't. There is no reason to book this tour ahead of time, you can just show up at our meeting point and pay cash on the day of the tour. It will cost you less than booking ahead. <br>It is an easy walk, with comfort breaks, snack break, and is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Private tours, group tours, and layover tours available by request when you visit our website and we answer emails promptly.

We went in to see both exhibitions in there. They both were very interesting. Just unfriendly staff at one entrance really made us embarrassing. He reacted as we didn't buy that tickets. Mild you, he was the one who failed to appear at the entrance to check them out first. To me, that was bad!

We visited an excellent exhibition of pairings by Lee Krasner , the wife of Jackson Pollock. The paintings were in chronological order retracing her history and the development of her art. Highly recommended. At the same time there was the tapestries of Hannah Ryggen which was interesting and colourful. Recommended. The museum is modern and functional and I will return after February 13th to see the Freda Kahlo exhibition.

I was there for the John M Armleder and Big Orchestra exhibits. I haven't always been a contemporary art person, but this space makes the experience more immersive than the average gallery. You can view the works from all directions and the bright natural light illuminates everything. I got some great photos combining different pieces. The Big Orchestra apparently holds live performances using the art works, which are all musical instruments or written music that can be played in some way. There was a family with children who seemed to be having fun and were not bored at all.
