A statue of the Roman Jesus or the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The picture above shows the statue of the Roman Jesus (or also called by the Romanic Catholics the Sacred Heart of Jesus). Is that the Jesus of the Bible? Let’s find out. As you can see on the Romanic statue, Jesus have long hair [what?!?]. The Apostle Paul said:
“Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?” – 1 Co. 11:14 (KJV)
The Apostle Paul clearly says that a long hair of a man is a shame/sin. How can the Son of God do sin? Do you want to know what is the origin of this long hair of the Roman Jesus? Let’s find out. Actually, the long hair of the Roman Jesus came from an Egyptian god.
The Egyptian “god” Serapis compared to the Roman Jesus.
SERAPIS (From Wikipedia.org)
Serapis (Latin spelling, or Σάραπις, Sarapis in Greek) was a syncretic Hellenistic-Egyptian god in Antiquity. His most renowned temple was the Serapeum of Alexandria.[1] Under Ptolemy Soter, efforts were made to integrate Egyptian religion with that of their Hellenic rulers. Ptolemy’s policy was to find a deity that should win the reverence alike of both groups, despite the curses of the Egyptian priests against the gods of the previous foreign rulers (i.e Set who was lauded by the Hyksos).Alexander the Great had attempted to use Amen for this purpose, but he was more prominent in Upper Egypt, and not as popular with those in Lower Egypt, where the Greeks had stronger influence. The Greeks had little respect for animal-headed figures, and so a Greek-style anthromorphic statue was chosen as the idol, and proclaimed as the equivalent of the highly popular Apis.[2] It was named Aser-hapi (i.e. Osiris-Apis), which became Serapis, and was said to be Osiris in full, rather than just his Ka (life force).
Please see the comparison I made between the Egyptian god Serapis and the Roman Jesus. Please compare the head of the two. The Egyptian god Serapis have long hair and a beard while the Roman Jesus also have a long hair and a beard. A completely Roman Catholic blasphemy! How dare the Roman Catholics to change the Egyptian god Serapis to Jesus to become their Roman Jesus.
