Jerry Lewis Redd, 88 passed quietly on August 15, 2022.

Born June 10, 1934 to Alvin A. and Ida Mae (Glover) Redd in Hutchinson, Kansas.

He worked at Larrabee Mills then Winchester Packing until they closed, then worked and retired from Reno County yards.

Jerry loved to fish, and growing a garden with a passion for growing flowers.

Jerry was united in marriage to Diane (Duncan) May 4, 1956. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2020.

Other survivors include Patricia Strait, Tammy (Richard) Brown of Hutchinson, Cindy (Brian) Dees of Burrton. Grandchildren James (Jill) Brown, April (Gary) Wisecarver, Malissa Petty, Holly Womack,

Jessica Soden, Krysta (Mike) Woelk, Brittany (Joshua) Fistler, Paige (Nathan ) Armstrong, Ben (Ashley) Dees, and 17 great grandchildren.

Sister Glenda Leighty of Hugoton, Brother Bill Redd, So. Hutchinson, Sister’s in law, Janet Redd and Judy Geddes.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Son Robert Redd, Great Granddaughter Emercynn Fistler, Brother Dayul Redd, Sisters Mary Branson, Marlene Gordon, brothers-in-law James Gordon, LeRoy Duncan, Earl Geddes, sister in-law Melvene Duncan.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Reno County.

We will be hosting a memorial service October 23rd, 2022 at Dillon’s Nature Center from 4-6 p.m. For both Jerry and Diane (Duncan) Redd.
