    Gain knowledge about pharmaceutical development process and important lab training; ability to transfer departments to expand skill set; training in cGMP industry standards and quality control procedures; with the right supervisor you have the ability to be promoted in a reasonable time frame if you are willing to listen and put in the work; offers access to choose between a people-manager or project manager job focus;

    Cons

    Very little support for job enrichment and additional training outside your specific role; salary seems to be at lower end of spectrum for similar businesses in the area; each department of the company is very dependent on the effectiveness and competency of the department associate director, which can lead to different experiences for job satisfaction in different departments; steep learning curve to learn importance of cGMP quality documentation and understanding importance of adhering to detailed SOPs; company is very large and hierarchical which can lead to individual employees not having the ability to voice opinions
