¿And who is this?

león trotski

Journalist, essayist and founder of the Red Army, Trotsky became a reference point for the left and a symbol for the working class throughout the world. Accused of "anti-Soviet activities", Stalin banished him from the Soviet Union to end his days in Mexico, where he was assassinated by Ramón Mercader.

Stalin's censorship directly eliminated political opponents such as Leon Trotsky, who were directly eradicated from photographic history at the same time as they were taken to the Gulag or physically eliminated. Some very important people only came to light because of their relevance or when the Soviet regime collapsed.
