Royal and showbiz expert Kinsey Schofield weighed in on the timing of Meghan Markle and Harry's announcement of the couple's two new Netflix series.

She said: "I thought it was interesting timing the way we heard about the new Netflix shows. As if once Prince William broke his silence on social media and once we saw Prince George and Prince William out and about looking like they were in good spirits - then the onslaught of the Sussex PR comes our way with the Deadline article."

Speaking on Talk TV, she added: "I also want to mention: If you tried to share the Deadline article via their website, it did not say anything about Prince Harry in the title it said 'Meghan Markle, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex to launch two new shows.

"If you look at their Facebook post when the article was originally published, it says Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex to release two new shows. Harry is an afterthought."

In February 2020 Ravec - the committee that oversees security arrangements for the Royal Family and other high-profile figures - decided the prince was no longer entitled to automatic police protection when in the UK.

Prince Harry receives 10% discount on legal fees as Home Office punished for rule breach

was given a 10 percent discount on his legal fees in his High Court battle against the Home Office over his UK security after the Government was punished for delaying the provision of key documents, it has been reported.

The Duke of Sussex took legal action against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision that he should receive a different degree of protection when he returned to the UK after he quit his royal duties.

He lost the case back in February with High Court judge Sir Peter Lane finding that "there has not been any unlawfulness in reaching the decision" to revise his security, adding: "Any departure from the policy was justified. The decision was not irrational. The decision was not marred by procedural unfairness."

Now new court documents seen by The Times show that Sir Peter has refused Harry permission to appeal and also that the Home Office has been "penalised" for delaying the release of certain information - dubbed "crucial" by Harry's team - about the workings of Ravec - the committee that arranges security for members of the Royal Family and other VIPs.

Prince Harry's visa row has intensified after campaigners seized upon remarks made by the US ambassador to Britain. Jane Hartley said previously that the Duke of Sussex would not be deported from the United States while Joe Biden was president.

Harry admitted taking cocaine in his bestselling memoir, Spare, and now faces questions as to how he was able to move to the US, where a visa application can be blocked if an applicant admits to illicit drug use.

The US ambassador's comment has been cited by Washington DC based think tank, the Heritage Foundation, as it seeks release of Harry's visa records. It wants the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to open the file under US Freedom of Information laws.

Ms Hartley told Sky News that the Biden administration would not deport Harry during an interview with the broadcaster in March. She said: "It's not going to happen in the Biden administration."

Prince Harry given three-pronged response to fix royal feud with King Charles and William

Prince Harry has been advised as to how he should best approach ending his and Meghan Markle's feud with the Royal Family, with reports suggesting that King Charles has invited them to Balmoral this summer.

While the King is said to be keen to build bridges with his youngest son, Prince William is not so keen to be reunited with his brother following allegations made about him in Harry's memoir Spare.

Founder of Dauntless PR, Luana Ribeira, told Express.co.uk: "With everything that is happening with the Royal Family, now is the perfect time for a reconciliation.

"No matter how high profile they are, at the end of the day, they are a family and nothing puts disagreements into perspective like a health scare, particularly involving cancer.

"I hope the rumours that the King has invited Prince Harry and Meghan to Balmoral are true as it would be the ideal backdrop for them to mend their relationship, giving them the space and privacy to work through any issues and put them behind them."

Prince Harry's bizarre gesture to Princess Anne showed 'tension' ahead of royal reunion

Prince Harry made a bizarre gesture to Princess Anne at the King's Coronation last year, a body language expert claimed.

With just a few weeks to go before the Duke of Sussex's next return to the UK, the former working royal previously showed signs that he was nervous during a past visit.

Harry allegedly made a strange gesture towards his aunt at the historic ceremony, where he was seated in the third row alongside his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Harry arrived alone at the ceremony, with his wife Meghan Markle opting to remain at home in the US with their two children.

Recalling Harry's alleged nervousness, body language expert Judi James said: "As Harry waited in his seat for his father and brother to arrive there were some subliminal signs of building tension or anxiety.

"He sucked his lips in and licked them and his blink rate increased, suggesting adrenaline prompted by nerves."

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, once gave Prince Harry a brutal snub in an awkward moment showing students how the royal line of succession works.

During a visit to Brockhill Performing Arts College in Kent, the Duchess launched the first ever LEAF Gold Demonstration School, which has been awarded for the school’s commitment to using food production, farming, and the environment as part of its broad and balanced curriculum.

Duchess Sophie also met students who benefitted from the school’s various educational programmes – which included animal management and gardening.

But while explaining how the line of succession works on a whiteboard in a classroom, Sophie drew a family tree where she failed to add Prince Harry, the King's youngest son, in an apparent snub.

One series will explore "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship", while the other will give "unprecedented access to the world of professional polo".

Michael Cole, former BBC royal correspondent, said that Harry and Meghan are now having to “sing for their supper”.

He said on Times Radio: “Netflix is a hard-headed company, they don’t throw money away. They want products, they want new things.

And part of the new things, shows which are called ‘unscripted’ are shows that the Duke and Duchess will be doing."

Prince Harry facing prospect of ‘embarrassing climbdown’ as visa row reaches crucial stage

Prince Harry might be forced into an "embarrassing climbdown" should he be found to have lied on his US visa application, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex has seen his status come under intense scrutiny after the US-based The Heritage Foundation lodged a freedom of information request demanding the release of his visa application.

The foundation has contended the documents would show whether Harry disclosed his drug use – a requirement that, if not met, could affect his residency rights.

Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths argued Harry faced the prospect of a "really embarrassing" situation if the files showed he had misled US authorities during his application.

Prince Harry slammed for being 'out of touch' after announcing upcoming Netflix show

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be making two new shows with Netflix, but a royal expert claims this shows how “out of touch” Prince Harry is with the public.

In a conversation with GB news, Mankoo said: “Actually it shows the problem with Harry because the fact that he's doing a show on polo, which is hardly a mass appeal thing shows that there's not much of a commercial skill set he actually has.

“The problem there is that polo isn't like football. There's a reason that he's not played on television because they have a very small audience for these sorts of things.

“Now, they've got a very good team behind the ones that did the Wrexham football team documentary series. But again, this all goes to show that Prince Harry actually is quite out of touch with the public because of course, polo is the sport of kings.

“So as much as he tries to tell us that he's distanced from the monarchy, the man of the people. This just really goes to show that he's still part of that very exclusive elite set.”

Prince Harry's surprise reference in Suits as Meghan Markle was nearly beaten to part

Meghan Markle was very nearly beaten to the part of Rachel Zane in Suits, which would have meant the show would not have been able to get their sneaky Prince Harry reference into the final ever episode.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Meghan competed with one other actress for the role of Rachel, which would have completely altered the course of her life.

She went up against Kim Shaw for the part, a Canadian-American actress who went on to land roles in Saving Hope, NCIS and the film Animals.

Jeff Wachtel, chief content officer of NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, told The Hollywood Reporter that Meghan won the role due to her chemistry with co-star Patrick J. Adams, saying: "They had it right away. It was a lot of fun."

In the final episode an interaction between characters Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) appears to reference Prince Harry, although it is unclear if this was deliberate.

"Wait a second. Are you wearing a morning coat?" Harvey asks Louis ahead of his wedding, to which Louis responds, "Of course, I’m wearing a morning coat. Frankly, I’m disappointed you’re not." Harvey then responds "Louis, you’re not the prince of England."
