does anyone know if the shibazakura is likely to be in full bloom or good bloom in about 10 days' time? Thinking of visiting this if so.
Separately does anyone know if there is a bus from Chureito Pagoda to the festival area? Not sure if I can do both places myself in a diy trip.

In 10 days? The festival is from April 13 to May 26. May will be full bloom, not April.

There's a direct bus from Kawaguchiko and Fuji-san stations during the festival period. Change the language to English from the menu to the top right.
