In a parallel universe which decreased artists would you see in concert?
Edit: Deceased not decreased
T. Rex, The Beatles, David Bowie, Suicide Silence (w/ Mitch), Ozzy (w/ Randy Rhoads), Harry Nilsson, Death, Janis Joplin, Type O Negative.
I had the pleasure to see Suicide Silence and Type O Negative (2x) with Mitch and Peter at the helm respectfully. Yep, I would forego a Legend to see these two perform again. Seen Paul McCartney once. Paul is magical, praise this man lol.
Chopin, Debussy, The Lord Chamberlain's Men (doing Shakespeare), Nina Simone, The MC5, Satchmo, Frank Sinatra in the '50s, Crass, Townes VanZandt, CSNY, Bob Dylan in the '60s,
Satchmo and Sinatra I'm on board
This is an amazing answer.
Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers circa 1977
MC5
Iggy and the Stooges
Stones w Mick Taylor
Husker Du
Replacements w Bob and Christopher Mars
I laughed out loud at “decreased artists”, thanks.
Anyway, for me, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, who have never decreased in my opinion.
Elliott Smith, Jason Molina. I was like 9 years late on Elliott, only a year or so on Jason (though he’d stopped touring a while before that)
Stevie Ray Vaughan
First person that came to mind was SRV. It would have been incredible to see him live.
Decreased? Like Prince in frumpy pajamas?
Minutemen
No Freddie Mercury?
No Jimi Hendrix?
What's wrong with you people??
Waylon Jennings. The only country hero of mine I never got to see live.
I liked Type O negative as a kid - a few years ago I did a deep dive into their lyrics....yikes.
Prince, and David Bowie just to name a couple off the top of my head
probably eminem
Roy Wood. Prince. Dave Brubeck.
Frank Zappa, Beethoven.
I'm bummed I never saw Rush live, so if I could go back to when Neil was still alive and they were touring them I'd love to see one of their big shows.
Though also, it'd just be nice to live in a world where Neil Peart was still alive and well.
So these are mini versions of the original artists? How much have the artists been decreased in size? Need to know to provide my best answer. Increasing anxious for a reply.
Oh my God! That's hilarious. Please spare me. I'm an adult with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I'm educated, I know better believe me but my brain sees a mistake and says "Yep, all good here." Sometimes it doesn't if I proof read it 20x, my neurological disorder always autocorrects and I'm left to be an idiot among my peers.
I’m glad you weren’t offended. I am an ex-copywriter and make mistakes like that all the time. And I have no excuse. My brain just reads right over the mistakes.
Jimi Hendrix
The Beatles
Mozart
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Elvis
Prince
David Bowie
Soundgarden
Jóhann Jóhannsson
Frank Zappa
Townes Van Zandt
Van Halen again, Rush, SRV, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Gary Moore, Chris Cornell (either solo or with Soundgarden).
Elliott Smith, the Gits
