FATHER PAUL JOSEPH LENNON
LENNON, FATHER PAUL JOSEPH April 5, 1931 – May 8, 2024 With sadness we announce the death of Fr. Lennon on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Born April 5, 1931 to Sarah (nee Farquharson) and Leo Lennon; predeceased by his brother, Lloyd (Marguerite); and sisters, Eileen (Jack) and Rita; he leaves nieces and nephews, Jo Ann, Margo, Paul, Doug and Peter. Ordained May 26, 1956 in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Paul was Director of Catholic Charities (12 years) and Pastor of St. Philip the Apostle parish in Oshawa (17 years). He was deeply committed to his vocation. Funeral Mass: Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 3170 St. Clair Ave. E., at 11:00 a.m. (visitation at 9:30 a.m.).
