Two desirable original World War II–dated photographs of esteemed U.S. Army General George S. Patton, both encapsulated by PSA as authentic 'Type I' photographs: an original glossy 7 x 9 photo of Maj. Gen. George S. Patton as commander of the First Armored Corps, standing at full length in front of a tank, with an affixed caption on the reverse (dated "5-7-42"); and a original glossy 8 x 10 Signal Corps photo of General George S. Patton in uniform, with Signal Corps credit text on the reverse (dated "7/7/45"), as well as several later date stamps, notations, and affixed captions. In fine condition.
