Dubai-based luxury device manufacturer Caviar has recently announced a limited edition Criss-Cross iPad Pro 2024, part of their Desperado collection. The custom iPad Pro features a unique design inspired by the popular comic book characters Deadpool and Wolverine, who are set to star in the upcoming movie "Deadpool & Wolverine" this July.
The rear panel of the Criss-Cross iPad Pro showcases two Desert Eagle Mark XIX guns forming an 'X' symbol, representing Deadpool, while the surrounding claws pay homage to Wolverine.
Caviar revealed that the guns are "pierced by blades made of hardened titanium in black," and the surrounding panel is adorned with 24K gold. The tablet's case is made from titanium and utilises PVD-plated tech, commonly found in luxury Swiss watches.
Caviar plans to produce only 99 units of this exclusive iPad Pro, which will be available in 11" and 13" sizes with both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Storage options range from 256GB to a whopping 2TB. The starting price for the 11-inch variant is set at $12,200 (approximately ₹10,18,650), while the larger 13-inch model begins at $12,630 (around ₹10,54,550).
The release of this limited edition tablet coincides with the highly anticipated "Deadpool & Wolverine" movie, which is expected to generate significant buzz among fans of the comic book characters. Caviar's Criss-Cross iPad Pro 2024 offers a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to own a piece of luxury technology that pays tribute to these iconic superheroes.
As with other Caviar products, the Criss-Cross iPad Pro 2024 will be available in limited quantities with only 99 units available worldwide.
