A Universidade de Yale está com inscrições abertas para 84 cursos gratuitos. Essas formações são oferecidas integralmente através da plataforma Open Yale, abrangendo áreas como química, economia, história, psicologia, filosofia, estudos religiosos, sociologia, direito e literatura.

Os cursos disponíveis na Open Yale são ministrados por professores e acadêmicos reconhecidos da universidade.

Cada curso inclui uma série completa de palestras em vídeo, acompanhadas por materiais adicionais como leituras recomendadas, testes e exercícios. As palestras podem ser baixadas em formato de vídeo, e há também uma versão disponível apenas em áudio.

Diferente das universidades brasileiras que oferecem cursos online gratuitos com certificados, a Open Yale não disponibiliza certificados de conclusão para seus cursos.

Yale integra a Ivy League e é considerada uma das mais conceituadas dos Estados Unidos, sendo conhecida por ter formado cinco presidentes do país.
