Meet the current West End cast of Operation Mincemeat

Operation Mincemeat

Musical Operation Mincemeat is extending its stay in the West End with a new line up of cast members.

The hit show, telling an unbelievably true story, runs at the Fortune Theatre in the heart of London.

Making up the current cast are:

Emily Barber (Ewen Montagu & Others)

Emily trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Her theatre credits include Backstairs Billy at the Duke of York’s Theatre, Cost of Living at Hampstead Theatre, and The Importance of Being Earnest at the Vaudeville Theatre. Her film work includes roles in Untamed and Backdraft II, and she has appeared on television in Bridgerton and The Alienist.

Seán Carey (Charles Cholmondeley & Others)

Seán is from Meath, Ireland, and has performed in various theatre productions including The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery in the West End. He has also appeared in Fiddler On The Roof at the Gaiety Theatre. On television, Seán has been seen in Roy on CBBC and Fame: The Musical on RTÉ.

Chlöe Hart (Johnny Bevan & Others)

Chlöe trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Her theatre roles include performances in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria, Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre, and Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre. She has appeared on television in Girlfriends on ITV and participated in the Weakest Link West End Celebrity Special on BBC.

Christian Andrews (Hester Leggatt & Others)

Christian is from South Wales and trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. His theatre work includes Shit-faced Showtime: A Pissedmas Carol and Mother Goose Cracks One Out at Above The Stag. He has also appeared in Autopsy: The Last Hours of Roy Orbison on ITV and in campaigns for McDonald’s and Audible.

Claire-Marie Hall (Jean Leslie & Others)

Claire-Marie is from Newport, South Wales, and studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her theatre credits include Operation Mincemeat at the Riverside Studios and The Grinning Man at Trafalgar Studios. On television, she has appeared in Just Up Your Street and Aladdin on BBC Wales.

Holly Sumpton (Ewen Montagu & Others)

Holly trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her theatre work includes roles in Groan Ups and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery in the West End. On television, she has appeared in The Goes Wrong Show on BBC.

Geri Allen (Johnny Bevan & Others)

Geri trained at East 15 Acting School. Her theatre credits include Footloose on UK and International Tours and Much Ado about Nothing at Dubai Opera House. She has appeared on television in The Bill on ITV and in the film Emma’s Dead.

Christian Andrews (Hester Leggatt & Others)

Christian trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and received the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship. His theatre work includes Superyou in Concert at the Lyric Theatre and Stranger Sings! at The Vaults Theatre. He has also appeared in the film Nuremberg.

The new West End production is directed by Robert Hastie with choreographer Jenny Arnold, set & costume designer Ben Stones, lighting designer Mark Henderson, sound designer Mike Walker and orchestrator and vocal arranger Steve Sidwell. Georgie Staight joins Robert Hastie as Associate Director.

The year is 1943 and we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.

Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Noel Coward meets Noel Fielding, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II. The question is, how did a well-dressed corpse wrong-foot Hitler?
