Bully Ray was a huge fan of Motley Crue back in the day.

The WWE Hall of Famer had the band on Busted Open Radio. They spoke about topics like the band’s relationship and which venues they prefer to play in.

However, it was Bully Ray who told the most hilarious story of the day. Just as the show was ending, he reminded Tommy Lee of something that happened between them when he just a 16-year-old kid in New York.

Bully Ray told the story about him and his sister attending a game at Yankee Stadium. They spotted Heather Locklear on the screen. The duo deduced that if Locklear was there, her then-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, would also be there.

The crowd swarmed to see Locklear. Bully Ray chased the musician down and had him sign something, a hot dog container from a vendor, of all items.

“Tommy, as a 16-year-old kid, I’m at a Yankee game. They put up a thing on the screen that said the Yankees would like to welcome Heather Locklear to the game, right? So, I see that. My sister says to me, she goes, ‘Well, if she’s here, that means Tommy Lee is here.’. And I’m like, ‘You’re right, you’re right.’ I look down, and this section just starts to crowd with people. And there was a bunch of dudes who are going to see Heather Locklear. I’m like, ‘Not me, not me!'”

“I ran down there, I’m screaming at you. This is right around “Theater of Pain” time, I’m like, ‘Tommy f***in’ Crue rules!’. I chased you through the corridors of Yankee Stadium. Some chick was putting a hot dog in a container. I took the hot dog container. I ripped it in half, you grabbed my hand, you threw me in a room, and you signed my hot dog container for me.”

Bully joked that Lee probably had no idea, but the drummer said he remembered the meeting.
