Hi, I haven’t written any diaries or comments for a long time because I’ve been inundated with medical issues, and have had to deal with all of that. But, on this special day, I was looking for a quote about “mothers” because I loved my own so dearly, and Maya Angelou felt the same way about her mother Vivian Baxter, although it was a much more complex relationship than mine.
“Mother’s life flowed radiant. Flourescent-tipped waves on incoming tides.”
And, I loved these Angelou quotes as well:
“My mother's gifts of courage to me were both large and small. The latter are woven so subtly into the fabric of my psyche that I can hardly distinguish where she stops and I begin.”
