PITMAN, NJ -- Molly Lodge was named the NJAC Outstanding Track Athlete and teammate Izzy Deal was voted the NJAC Outstanding Field Athlete to highlight the Rowan Women's Track & Field Team on the 2024 NJAC All-Conference Teams. A total of 13 Profs earned honors including seven first-team selections.

The all-conference teams are based on performances at the 2024 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held this past weekend while the special awards were determined by a vote of the league's head coaches.

Lodge captured the 400 meter hurdles and was a member of the winning 4x400 relay to earn first-team status, as well as earning a second-team nod in the 100 meters.

Deal won the javelin and would break a school record in claiming the shot put title. She would also set a PR in the hammer throw.

Joining Lodge and Deal with first-team honors are Nevaeh Lorjuste in the 400 meters, Mia Guerra in the 10000 meters and Anna Sasse in the 3000 meter steeplechase (where she set a meet record in the process). Lodge teamed with Lorjuste, Jasmine Pope, and Kat Pedersen in that conference-winning 4x400 relay.

Pope would score second-team accolades in the 400 meters as did Ally Wernik in the 1500 meters and Grace Vit in the shot. The 4x100 relay squad of Brianna DeSanto, Brooke Driver, Mya Walker, and Sidney Whetstone were honored with a second-team selection.

Pedersen (400 meters), Sasse (1500 meters), DeSanto (400 meter hurdles), along with Cammy Wright (5000 meters) all earned honorable mention as well.

The Profs finished in second place at the conference championships held at Stockton where Rowan totaled 187.5 points, 27.5 behind first-place TCNJ.

Rowan will head to SUNY-Cortland for the AARTFC Outdoor Championships that take place May 15-16. Prior to that meet, select individuals will compete at Widener's Final Qualifier on Monday, May 13.
