Man's body found on Nerang's Glennon Park rugby field but death treated as 'not suspicious'

The body of a man discovered early this morning at a Gold Coast rugby field has been identified by police.
They say the 29-year-old was found near Glennon Park at Nerang is a Gold Coast man.
The ABC understands group of locals who had met up to carpool to work discovered the body at the Nerang Bulls the rugby union fields and contacted police.
A crime scene was established and enquiries were made into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, with police initially believing it was suspicious.
Detectives are awaiting the results of a post-mortem but say the death has now been deemed non-suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
