Jared Odrick Earns Another Podium Result for CB Motorsports at WWTR

May 16, 2024 – It was a trip to the Worldwide Technology Raceway for round four of the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli for CB Motorsports. Bringing a pair of TA2 drivers to the event, one would leave with hardware as Jared Odrick found his way to the second step of the podium in the AM class to strengthen his championship position.
After starting shotgun on the field and in class after struggling in qualifying, Odrick put it together when the green flag flew for the wheel-to-wheel racing, gaining five positions and climbing to the second step of the podium. With back-to-back podiums, Odrick finds himself third in the AM Championship points battle with two-thirds of a race season to go.
“I am having such a blast, and the CB Motorsports outfit is a perfect fit for me,” explained Odrick. “I did not have many goals this season, but the more we run and the better I do, I am slowly adding more to my list. A couple podiums now, why not look at the class championship too.”
Caleb Bacon also battled under the CB Motorsports banner, and it was a battle in St. Louis. Struggling for much of the weekend and after contact in qualifying with the turn one wall, Bacon and crew were forced to band-aid a car back together and take it on track for the 57-lap race.
“We just struggled all week with setup and couldn’t get the car to change with everything that was done,” added Bacon. “I had an issue in qualifying with the wall in turn one, but the guys got it back together for the race and just held on with what I had to collect as many points as I could. A weekend to forget basically.”
Despite the result, Bacon still sits sixth in the TA2 National Driver’s Championship standings with eight events still remaining.
Next up for CB Motorsports, Jared Odrick, and Caleb Bacon will be a trip to Lime Rock Park over the May 24-27 weekend for round five in the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli.
