Twitch is rebuilding their mobile app. The app's home page looks like TikTok/Instagram now. It also autoplays a clip when you open the app up.

I feel like this is a weird choice for long form content and for content that's creator driven, like you'd watch specific streamers that you like, rather than just going and checking random videos and watching random creators.
Maybe I'm not hip to how kids interact with Twitch now though, maybe they only watch 10 second clips and don't care who's making them, but I feel like there's already an app or two that does that better.

It is astounding how many features they removed from those console apps. I have no idea why. They used to be way better, nowadays I don't bother watching twitch on ps5 or series.
The twitch app is probably the shittiest app I ever use, usually like a couple of times a month, but if the new shittification can make the aspects that are straight up broken for me all the fucking time actually work I will accept the trade off. It looks really bad though.
