The Park area at Glastonbury Festival has revealed its line-up programme for this year’s Festival – featuring Fontaines D.C., Peggy Gou and London Grammar as this year’s main Park Stage headliners – along with announcing two brand-new venues.
Today’s announcement comes after just yesterday (14th May) the Poetry & Words team released their line-up poster for 2024 via their official Facebook page – along with revealing some exciting plans for a new Spoken Word Theatre, which you can read all about here.
Following the first line poster which was revealed back in March and included the initial wave of acts confirmed for this year’s event, Glastonbury organisers have been progressively rolling out separate posters for the Festival’s many areas and stages.
Announcing The Park area details at 12 noon today (15th May), Glastonbury officials said on X: “Up at The Park, high over the Festival site, this vibrant home of eclectic fabulousness returns for 2024 with another line-up of sizzling acts as well as a few new treats to inspire wonder and ignite delight!”
This year’s Park’s main line-up poster (shown below) features an embroidered border originally stitched by Syrian refugees through Oshana – A project that “provides women who have lost everything with a creative outlet for trauma through embroidery and crochet”.
Fontaines D.C., Peggy Gou and London Grammar (all of whom were announced previously) will be headlining this year’s main Park Stage – while new act additions to the bill include Johnny Flynn, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Lynks, Moonchild Sanelly, Kara Jackson, Lime Garden, Problem Patterns, and Voice For Soprano performed by Bishi.
Additionally, The Park’s cherished Stonebridge Bar will feature DJ sets from Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, Annie Mac, Groove Armada, Idris Elba, Fleetmac Wood, a Rudimental B2B Todd Edwards, and many more.

The Park Stage debuted at Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and was initially programmed by Emily Eavis so that she could hone her skills before assuming more of the overall responsibility of running the Festival from her father, the founder of Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis.
Bundled together with the line-up announcement and joining The Park’s existing Stonebridge Bar, Free University Of Glastonbury, HMS Sweet Charity and Bimble Inn venues, the south-side area also introduced two new venues for 2024 – The Wishing Well and Scissors, which will replace the legendary Rabbit Hole, which has left the Glastonbury site after 17 years.
Described as “a place in which to ignite your deepest desires and unfurl your wildest wishes”, The Wishing Well adds: “Re-awaken all that inspires you, because at The Wishing Well – where dreams are made – hope springs eternal!”
Scissors, meanwhile, is “an utterly delicious femme-queer venue where anything can (and does!) happen”, and offers Glasto-goers to “Head to Scissors for a cut, or just come along to enjoy some of the daily talks, then slip out the back to discover a queer wonderland,” — The post continues: “Relax in the beer garden and play pool, or catch a movie in Flick Shack. With nightfall comes a twilight roster filling Kiki’s nightclub, where kaleidoscopic walls will keep you dancing til dawn.”

Today, run by Emily Eavis and her husband, Nick Dewey – The Park includes several venues, from open-air stages and late-night bars and cafes, to teepee villages, art installations, and an illuminated 18-meter Ribbon Tower which contains 210 colourful ribbons and overlooks the entire Festival site.
In addition to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who is scheduled to host a Q&A session at Scissors, and more performers due to be announced at a later date for that stage – other names confirmed across these venues include Daniel Avery (electroclash set), Erol Alkan, Robin Ince, Shaun Keaveny, Felt Sound System, Beans On Toast, Stornoway and Flamingods.
Prior to today’s annoucment, the Worthy Farm event had already confirmed a host of on-site line-up posters for its dedicated areas and stages – including the bills for Glasto Latino, which was revealed on the 13th of May, Croissant Neuf on the 8th of May, Theatre & Circus on the 6th of May, and KIdzfield before that on the 4th of May.
Other posters already released include The Common (3rd May), Left Field (1st May), Woodsies (30th April), Silver Hayes (29th April), West Holts (26th April), The Glade (22nd April), Shangri-La (19th April), Field of Avalon (16th April) and Acoustic Stage – which was the first area to kick off the string of area announcements on the 12th of April.
Other Line-up News
With only less than 45 days to go until Glastonbury opens its gates for this summer’s event next month (26th – 30th June), we can expect more individual areas and stages to announce their dedicated line-ups over the coming weeks before the full bill including stage times gets revealed sometime at the end of May.
Although the full Glasto line-up including stage times doesn’t tend to get released until the end of May, this year, the first main line-up poster was announced on Thursday morning (14th March), in which it confirmed that Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA will be taking to the iconic Pyramid Stage to headline the event this summer on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the Festival, respectively.
Shania Twain was also announced as this year’s Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot performer, along with a spread of artists, including LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Kiwanuka, Janelle Monae, Olivia Dean, Paloma Faith and Keane, and many more.
That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.

Build Progress
Meanwhile, with each passing day, in preparation for this year’s highly anticipated event, Worthy Farm is getting to look more and more like the world-famous Glastonbury Festival we all know and love.
The iconic Pyramid Stage finally began to get at the beginning of this month (7th May), after the covers (which were dropped off days earlier and lying on the ground beside the iconic structure) were raised and cloaked over the Port side of the mothership – as seen in the visual post below.
With gates to the public on the 26th of June, and as more containers carrying equipment continue to arrive on-site intermittently, we can expect the build to grow in intensity as more iconic stages and venues come to life once again to create the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.

Site Changes & Updates
Arrivals · Shangri-La
When revealing its lineup last month, late-night area Shangri-La also announced a brand-new venue named Arrivals. The new space – designed by Shankho Chaudhuri, Esha Sikander & Shirin Naveed, and which features the work of illustrator Osheen Siva – is described as the “first dedicated South Asian space” to be created, designed, and built by an entirely South Asian team.
Peace · Shangri-La
Although not much information out there about the Peace Stage, it appears that it has adopted its new name for 2024 in the absence of last year’s Truth Stage.
Assembly · Silver Hayes
A reimagined version of the former WOW stage will be introduced for this year’s Festival in the form of a new indoor space called Assembly.
Room · Silver Hayes
A new wellness area called Room at Silver Hayes will feature sound baths, meditation, yoga and more.
Tree Stage · Woodsies
Expanding on the Woodsies’ eclectic sound, the Tree Stage will make its debut at this year’s Festival and is described as being: “A new outdoor venue, set beneath an oak tree décor canopy, zeroing into the immersive, ambient and experimental”.
The Rabbit Hole
Elsewhere, the Rabbit Hole at Glastonbury has announced it will not be returning to Worthy Farm for the 2024 edition of the Festival – In a post on Facebook, the Rabbit Hole organisers said: “It is with gladness in our hearts and love for all of you, that we announce that the Rabbit Hole is disappearing into the ether and will not be at Glastonbury 2024. All great things come to an end and yet the end of one thing is but the beginning of another! What dreams may come!”
Created by the same team, and as mentioned above, replacing the Rabbit Hole (which will be leaving Glastonbury after 17 years) are The Wishing Well and Scissors.
The Brewery
A new/renamed bar will be introduced at Glastonbury for 2024 titled ‘The Brewery‘, described as being: “Just along the boulevard from the Pyramid stage that we hope will soon become a firm festival must-visit. Take a seat & enjoy your favourite drink & music with your favourite people”.
Competitions Opportunities
Although all tickets have now sold out, some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include working and volunteering at the Festival, as well as entering the many competitions, once these options make themselves available.
Earlier this year (4th March), Brothers Cider was confirmed as the “Official Cider for Glastonbury 2024”, and to celebrate the announcement, they are giving away 10 pairs of General Admission tickets to this year’s sold-out event.

Other Glasto News
Elsewhere, back in Apri, Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis was knighted by the Princess Royal for his contributions to music and charity – after previously receiving a CBE in 2007.
The investiture ceremony which took place at Windsor Castle earlier this week (Tuesday, 23rd April) also honoured two former England cricketers, Stuart Broad and Lydia Greenway, who have been recognised by King Charles.
The 88-year-old legend – whose full name is Athelstan Joseph Michael Eavis – transformed the Somerset event into one of the most widely celebrated music festivals in the world, drawing in over 200,000 people every year as well as the biggest musical talent and celebrity as its guests.
