Superstar Shah Rukh Khan continues to prove his widespread popularity beyond just the Hindi or Indian film industry. This was reaffirmed when the American series Interview With The Vampire season 2 included a special mention of the Bollywood actor.
A clip from the recently released series has gone viral on the internet and fans cannot keep calm. Eric Bogosian’s character Daniel says, “I’m sorry, this is so weird. Where did they send you when Shah Rukh Khan, over here, was playing you?” He was referring to Assad Zaman’s character, Armand. Assad was sitting across from him at the table.
Fans immediately took to social media to share their excitement. One of the fans wrote, “Popular show Interview With The Vampire has Shah Rukh Khan reference but as SRK fans, this is nothing new for us. no one will be ever as big as him long live the King.” Another commented, “The new season of Interview with the Vampire is already so good! Shah Rukh Khan name drop had me CACKLING.”

Previously, in the second episode of Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel, there was a big nod to Shah Rukh Khan and his famous movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Baazigar. The first Muslim superhero from Marvel was a big fan of SRK and enjoys discussing his movies, even reciting his famous lines. The lead character Kamala Khan even says on the show, “There is no such thing as a bad Shah Rukh Khan movie.”
On the work front, Shah Rukh will reportedly star in Sujoy Ghosh’s The King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan.
