Villarreal CF and the CEU Cardenal Herrera University (CEU UCH) have collaborated in the development of a joint research on mental health, in which mental health professionals from the Provincial Hospital of Castellón have also collaborated. The study has been published in the scientific journal Sports.
On behalf of Villarreal CF, the study has been promoted by Isabel Almodóvar, together with Héctor Usó, director of the club’s Medical Services. In this research, the contribution of Laura Bonet, resident internal psychologist at the Provincial Hospital of Castellón as the main author of the article, and Gonzalo Haro, leader of the TXP research group at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, also stand out.
Through Endavant Formació, Villarreal CF collaborates with the main university centres in the province of Castellón. This work is part of the Aula Endavant programme and the agreement signed with the CEU Cardenal Herrera University.
