ALBERT JOHN MASSUCCO OBITUARY

Albert John Massucco Albert John Massucco, born June 2, 1932 passed away on March 28, 2012 at the age of 79. Son of Benedetto and Lena Massucco and brother of the late John Massucco, who is survived by Benedetta Massucco. Also survived by brother and sister-in-law Larry and Rita Wilson. Born and raised in San Francisco, CA in the Russian Hill area. He attended Galileo High School and the University of San Francisco before his four year enlistment in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He then pursued a career in graphic arts and packaging, ultimately serving as Vice President and General Manager for Diamond International. After leaving the corporation, he then developed his own firm called Creative Packaging Services in Marin County. He remained in business for 15 years until his retirement. Beloved and devoted husband of Joyce Massucco for 57 years. He is survived by his children Elizabeth, David, Michael, John, Michelle and son-in-law Loren Lavezzoli as well as his four wonderful grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Al was a proud member of the Olympic Club in San Francisco, the Foodsters, the Italian Athletic Club of Marin, the Marin Bocce League, and the Marin Rod and Gun Club. He had a passion for fly fishing and traveled many places to pursue his hobby but his greatest love was fishing Dunsmuir with his sons, extended family and friends. Services will be held on April 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 373 Bon Air Road, Greenbrae CA.
