Craig Campbell was on the guitar while Johansson sang the iconic song. Fans did not expect Johansson to have singing talents, and she kept completely casual throughout the song.

Posted seven years ago, the song got over 7 million views and still today, comments are flooding.

Fans wrote, "I can’t possibly have a bigger crush on Scarlett Johansson. She starts singing… Mind blown."

Scarlett Johansson Was Overjoyed After Working With Bono In Sing 2

Back in 2021, Scarlett Johansson was interviewed by Variety, discussing her experience working with Bono in Sing 2. As expected, Scarlett was "in disbelief" over the collaboration.

“When I was a kid it was those Disney movies like ‘The Little Mermaid,’ ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and for her — this is sort of a fundamental memory making moment, with ‘Sing 2’ coming out,” she said at the time.

“When we were actually recording it I kept thinking to myself, ‘Is this really happening? Are they gonna get him?’ Even while he was already probably contracted and had recorded his part, I still wasn’t sure if it was really happening because it’s surreal,” she said. “My 13-year-old self was in disbelief.”

As for Bono himself, the artist felt grateful for the opportunity given that it gave him a chance to work alongside writer/director, Garth Jennings. Bono said, "He has a very brilliant brain, a big brain. But he stays kind of like a child. I think that is a key to his creativity.”

Featuring a stacked cast, the film was a major success at the box office, bringing in $408 million.

In 2024, Actors Are Still Shocking Fans With Their Musical Talents

Scarlett Johansson wasn't the only actress to surprise fans with her musical talents. That still holds true today, as most recently, Kelly Clarkson was in tears following Jeff Daniels' shocking acoustic performance. Daniels loves to write songs, but downplayed himself before the performance.

He said, "For anybody who plays guitar, it is okay, you don't have to be any good. But it's just that thing you do when you're sitting on the porch with your best friend, the guitar. And you want to write a love song, about the guitar."

At the conclusion of his original song, Clarkson was stunned by the outcome.

"I'm going to be really honest right now. 'They were like, 'Hey, Jeff Daniels wants to come in and play a song.' And I was like, okay, I don't know how this is going to go. But then I was like, 'Oh my gosh.'"

Similar to Scarlett, fans had nothing but praise for Daniels' talents.
