A good call Erik - I considered that but I didn't think it would garner further votes

Still, I did include Quatermass in my list....

Surely, if they were 'best' in your eyes you would own them - wouldn't you?

It would seem odd to vote for an album that wasn't in your collection - or is it just me being odd...?

Pavlov's Dog - damn - I missed that one!

My List:

Santana – Santana
Blind Faith – Blind Faith
Surfer Rosa – Pixies
If – If
In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
Black Sabbath – Black Sabbath
Quatermass – Quatermass
Music in a Doll’s House – Family
Pronounced – Lynyrd Skynyrd
Hawkwind – Hawkwind
Fortheringay - Fotheringay
Renaissance – Renaissance
Songs for Beginners – Graham Nash
Six Wives of Henry VIII – Rick Wakeman
Stephen Stills – Stephen Stills
Inner Mounting Flame – Mahavishnu Orchestra
UK - UK
Five Leaves Left – Nick Drake
Tons of Sobs - Free
Spirit – Spirit

Only three of mine made the resulting list. D'oh!

I've amended the top 20 albums list, removing the Tangerine Dream explanation. All I did today was copy the original list I'd sent to Mudshark, the Kaledoscope/Tangerine Dream explanation was just to avoid any confusion
