Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band began the Irish leg of their European tour in Belfast on Thursday night - and kicked off their set with the 1984 track No Surrender.
An estimated 40,000 people saw the show at the city's Boucher Playing Fields with fans hailing the gig online as "incredible" and "phenomenal".

The concert was Springsteen's first performance in Belfast since July 2013.

The tour now moves to Kilkenny's UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday 12 May, Cork's SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Thursday 16 May, and Dublin's Croke Park on Sunday 19 May.
