Selena Gomez surprises fans with emotional tribute to friend after a year of breakup

Singer and actress Selena Gomez surprised fans by paying a special tribute to her friend, actress Francia Raisa, 35, this Wednesday (26), with whom she had broken off relations a year ago.

To celebrate Francia's 35th birthday, Selena shared a series of three photos alongside the actress from “How I Met Your Father” with the caption: “The happiest birthday to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you“.

The relationship between the two was shaken after a comment by Selena in November 2022 to Rolling Stone regarding her friendships in the industry.

Friendship worth a kidney

Selena Gomez has Lupus and faced the need for a kidney transplant in 2017, due to disease-related damage to the organ. At this delicate moment, her longtime friend, Francia Raisa, discovered that she was compatible with the donation and promptly offered to help, even if it meant taking care of her own health.
