Since the main corroboration of posts I see here is subjective reviews of Undisputed’s state of development, I thought I’d chime in. Not to say I disagree with majority opinion, it is such a shit game. I amassed 500 hours (I’m sure a very small number compared to most of you) on this game and it was fun at the beginning but has proven to be a waste of time. Anyways, moving into the main topic. Steel City has a very novice team. I know, and I hope, that we have all seen the article about the workforce employee turned startup CEO at SCI. This hiring job for the proposed scope of the project, with the names on top, really isn’t too promising. Some lead employees are fresh grads. I like fresh grads as employees but, not as leads on projects with scopes like this one. I just thought I’d bring some realism to this forum; I don’t disagree with bashing the game, hopefully it makes it better. I hope SCI can prove us all wrong. As it stands though, it’s a shit game and if you do research on the companies employment record it’s even more telling of the future to look forward to.

one thing is being incompetent, another is completely ignoring community feedback
This team knew there was a high demand for a boxing game. They built the hype for this game then took the money and went on continuous holidays, even now their still going on holidays instead of dealing with the issues at hand.
Yes I understand that have the right to holidays but last year it was every other week which I’m my opinion is fucking ridiculous. If I developed a highly sort after game I’d make sure it was in full working order before I went on a single holiday. Why? Because a working game with a happy community leads to more holidays and more games. Ea didn’t get to be as big as they are by sipping cocktails poolside.
Varus is by far one of the biggest liars with in the company, all he has done is lie from day 1.
Where you obtain these details on employee holiday time?
They brag about their holidays in their discord
Whatever the state of the game or anyone's opinion, employees are eligible and it is a legal requirement to provide holiday. This is a moot point. Lambasting people for taking their legal holiday entitlement isn't the argument, there are still plenty of people working on the game when someone has their statutory holiday.

Yeah the guy is fucking scum. I dealt directly with him in discord when I joined 3-4 months ago I was defending the game & the dev's people even said I worked for SCI, I had enough of it and thought well ill go into the discord and act as a bridge for the dev's & get some answers, I tagged varus in my comment & said I wouldn't leave or stop asking until someone came in and answered as they where losing the community.
I asked what the community wanted to know, WHAT happened to the original game build they had & showed us and said i quote " We have the game simulating boxing better than ever before " We wanted to know what happened to that build ?
Instead of answering what he KNEW we wanted to know, he said " I dont know what your talking about your question makes no sense, The game you saw is the one you are all playing now "
I am paraphrasing it but it was something completely passive aggressive childish bullshit like that & they have a continuous track record of behaving like this, I literally stopped defending SCI that day.

Game was a smash and grab.
Released as a great foundation. Few updates to pretend there was development. Got some Saudi money and released a shit career mode and shit CAB after updates that ruined the game. Went backwards.
Smelled console money. Went for that. Abandoned the PC beta testers cos they've got our money and don't care what happens to us.

hardly. they may have fucked up what we thought we were getting in a pc release but it's very much going to make a decent amount when they release to console.
Whats with this smelling console money? Are you implying they wont update the game for PC after console release? Where did that come from? I've heard it before but is it true?
It's true when they told us there's no more updates until the console version - meaning they're happy with the beta state the game is in. They shouldn't be doing any console development until the PC version is in a better state.
Games can release in early access on Console, just look at Valheim but that was entirely serviceable and well loved and in a great state. This game is not. At all.
I don't think that necessarily implies that they're happy with the current state of the game, tbh. The balancing they are doing for console will also be updated for PC once the game is released, and consoles don't even have the game at all yet. But yes, the game is not in a good place. Hopefully anti-cheat, anti-plugging measures are added.

The problem is, The community ACCEPTED these facts that it was a new dev team, New studio
( Even though PLAION ) is publishing for them & has massive funding for the games they back. The real problem is the way Ash Habib & the entire team has decided to respond to the community trying to help them along as they are in fact new developers & not really doing the best work that could be done, Instead of accepting our help & being glad that we as a community are okay with them being new as long as they do our sport justice & treat it right, They act like WE are the problem for noticing things that aren't working right or things that need to be fixed, They blatantly lie about things they used to advertise the game as a simulation, Their response when questioned on that is enough to make someone vomit, Or when they where questioned about the dubious original footage & their video of them saying they have the game " simulating boxing better than ever before " when asked about where that game went, The responses again where absolutely disgusting.
It is the fact that Ash Habib & the team have no interest in doing this sport justice & now it is clear all they care about is cash grabbing in off of the void that fight night series left for really passionate boxing fans, and now as is with tradition, WE the community are the problem for noticing.
