Job Title: KS1 Teacher (Full-Time)

Pay: £140 – £175 dependent on experience 

We are working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. With a focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning, we are committed to delivering outstanding education and empowering our students to reach their full potential. The school is part of a wider academy trust and is a 2 form entry school, therefore support will be in place for planning etc.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 1 students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers to provide regular updates on student progress and promote parental involvement in their child’s education.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience working with Key Stage 1 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS (we can help with the application)
